Not only is this one of the coziest little shop on the corner that you have ever been inside. They also have the best sandwiches that you have ever eaten. And I don’t even want to start on the cheesecake and pies. I’ve been staying here in Hartwell for two weeks now working and every single morning when we are at the building that we’re working out, we can smell this amazing aroma of baking goods and cakes and pies. So I went over there a couple days ago to get a sandwich and hands-down. It was the most amazing sandwich ever. I’ve ate there three times now. This place is absolutely amazing!!

I just love this little shop! The food is excellent, and the wide variety of lovely goodies and items of decor keep you occupied while you wait for your sandwiches and soups to come out. I go every chance I get. And the folks running it are just lovely!

This is a great place for soup and sandwiches simular to a Mennonite one.There are lots of other things available for purchase also. I really recommend the enchilada meal the you can cook at home it was amazing. I generally get the sweet Lebanon Bologna on sourdough for lunch.
Got half way home and realized my sandwich was completely wrong, went back, barely an apology. Made me a new sandwich, but was still missing stuff, because girl was too preoccupied with talking to regular customer who comes in everyday. Maybe I would have become a regular if treated differently, but wasnt even treated right to begin with, so why would I? Bought other stuff too, but will hesitate to go again, yet I'm a full time Hartwell resident.

Ordering a little confusing at first but staff very helpful. Sandwich was composed of top notch ingredients. Bread ... Sourdough was fresh and tasty. Came with some homemade potato soup. I think it was something they did. Rich and creamy it was great. As weather cools a full bowl of it would be perfect. Nice shopping while waiting on your meal. Selection of assorted jellies, chow chow, other treats

Lovely place, fresh food and coffee. Boars Head is always a plus. My only complaint is they didn't have feta or goat cheese to add to my salad.
