I am NOT an outgoing/interactive/engaging person by nature but there’s some magic here. The employees love their jobs. The owner, the entertainment, the happiness…it brought something silly out in me that rarely happens. The food quantity is mind blowing and it’s by far the best authentic and unique German food in town! It is located at the VERY end (or beginning, depending on which direction you’re coming into Helen) directly behind Wendy’s and the parking is slightly hidden but it’s on the back side of the restaurant on the quaint “one way” lane. There is seating for all desires; inside and quiet, in the “beer garden” area (where this video was taken) or just outside the beer garden on the patio. Christoffs has something for everyone and the hospitality is top notch!

Christoff’s at Seventy‑Six Bavarian Biergarten in Helen is a delightful gem—cozy, inviting, and perfect for a relaxed bite. Their freshly baked pretzels (especially with house-made mustard or beer cheese) are outstanding, and the coffee is top-notch. The friendly service, charming outdoor seating, and laid-back European vibes make it a must-stop on a stroll through town
Had a great time. Everyone here was very friendly and very personable. Had some drinks and had a blast. Add it to your list of stops.

I was happy eating here because everywhere else you going downtown Helen you're getting ripped off. Even though you're spending over $5 for a hot dog or bratwurst it still makes it more worth it, then some of the other places. My son got two chili dogs I got a bratwurst with sauerkraut and brown mustard. It was good and I kind of want another one today.
Great place! Friendly staff! We sampled multiple pretzels which were delicious! Also, nice beer selection and even great soft drinks like Root beer in a bottle. The chili cheese dog was an incredible! The gentleman behind the bar was great! Super friendly! Very helpful! Kid friendly establishment. There are ring toss games on all the outdoor tables. Will be back! Highly recommend!

We were pleasantly surprised with the pretzels. They were absolutely delicious! The beer cheese and mustard that we got as dips were great as well. My daughters thoroughly enjoyed the yummy cookies. We all liked it so much that we actually visited again on our way back to our vehicle. We got another pretzel, a cinnamon pretzel, and currywurst. Everything was again delicious! The two people working were extremely kind. Great food and great service!! Don’t miss out on this hidden gem!

This place has a very authentic German feel, from the atmosphere to the décor. The small beer garden out back is a great spot to kick back and relax with a drink. We stopped in after a day of hiking and were pleasantly surprised—the pretzel came out fresh and piping hot, and the beer was ice-cold with a great $3 special on a select German brew. It really hit the spot. The only downside was the early closing time; most of the restaurants in the area shut down around 9:00 PM. It would be great if they extended their hours, especially on weekends. We would’ve loved to relax and enjoy the atmosphere a bit longer, but we only had about 20 minutes before closing. They've got corn hole and the classic swing-the-ring game, which adds a fun, laid-back vibe. There's even a TV so you can catch your favorite game while enjoying the ambiance. Great spot for a casual hangout with friends!
Probably the best pretzel I've ever had. The beer cheese is a must as well! The staff there were so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
Excellent coffee
Had a great charcuterie platter outside!
We went here twice in one day for chili dogs and the curryworst German sausage. It was very good and the young lady working was very kind. Would come back
