This place has a very authentic German feel, from the atmosphere to the décor. The small beer garden out back is a great spot to kick back and relax with a drink. We stopped in after a day of hiking and were pleasantly surprised—the pretzel came out fresh and piping hot, and the beer was ice-cold with a great $3 special on a select German brew. It really hit the spot. The only downside was the early closing time; most of the restaurants in the area shut down around 9:00 PM....
Super chill spot for a beer and a pretzel. And also hot apple cider when it’s cold! The pretzel was made-to-order and was super tasty. Affordable prices. Was the perfect spot to hang for a bit in Helen.
It looked questionable going into it as did the pretzel. But guess what? It was dope. The beer cheese ans mustard were great and the pretzel was 20x better than it looked. At $8, cheaper than the $12 pretzels on Main, ya can't beat it. Give it a try.
