Service is slow but only because they cook to order. Nice place to stop on your way into Helen. We just discovered they now have wings that blow everyone else in the area AWAY! I tried the garlic parmesean this visit and will have them many more times. Nice and meaty while crisp on the outside. The Mess is a fan favorite.
I just had a great experience at the Nacoochee Tavern & Pizzeria. Definitely try their Tavern Platter, there is a tremendous amount of variety and lots of food. I especially liked the hummus and the roasted garlic. They went really well with their focaccia bread. I'll be introducing others to the restaurant when I am back in the area again.

Ordered a large pizza and it was tasty. The crust was alittle under cooked to my liking but that stop us from devouring the hole pizza in record time. Service was on point beer was cold and the atmosphere was nice. Next time I'll ask for my pie to be well done.
