When my wife and I go on a date night in North Georgia, the most common destination is a quick trip to Helen for Spice 55. Spice 55 is famous in the area for great thai food an a more upscale vibe than most places in the area. As a vegan, there are a ton of options but my favorite is the Pad Pak - sauteed broccoli, carrots, mushroom, zucchini, squash, onion, bell pepper, green beans and scallions. My family and I ate at this wonderful restaurant for Christmas and we enjoyed their delicious food and great service. Our server, Reid, and the hostess, Jessie, were excellent and welcoming. We will definitely go again when in Helen, GA. Thanks for a great experience.

The flavors danced, the spices sang,
Each tasty bite went bangity-bang!

But oh, dear Jessie—hostess supreme!
The best we’ve met, and I truly mean.
She went out of her way, from start to end,
With warmth and care like a longtime friend.
