Great experience! Loved trying new wines made from everything but a grape! Staff (I wish we got her name) was enthusiastic, knowledgeable, warm, and very friendly. She completely sold me on purchasing the Pear Mead. We definitely plan to return in the future.

Did you know you could make wine with fruit other than grapes? Not only does the Sweet Acre Tasting Room offer traditional grape wine, but they have an assorted variety of other fruits they have turned into deliciously sweet alcoholic beverages. Stand at the bar for a tasting or choose your favorite flavor and sit down with a glass. Can't wait to go back! :D

Walked in for a wine tasting, was immediately helped. We got the flights to try the different wines, you got to try 4. They were very welcoming and the wine was delicious, I only got the semi-sweet and sweet. You have the option to purchase bottles when you're finished, I will need to go back. They were very patient with us while trying to decide which we want to try. The inside was very clean and nicely decorated.

I went with my friends celebrating one of my best friend's birthday. The service was great! The wine was delicious! I highly recommend the Bramblin' Sam and the wine slushies! Truly a great experience!

Super down to earth tasting room featuring wines made from southern fruits. GA muscadine wines are a must-try. Some wines are so amenable that I think "alcoholic muscadine juice" is a more accurate description than"muscadine wine".

Prob the worst wine I've ever tasted, but the bartender was kind.

Came here for a wine tasting. This wasn't the main location, no vineyard, only tastings. My husband and I tasted 5 wines, I liked 2 of them so I bought an bottle of each and took them home. It was a nice experience.

Great fruit wines. Tasting flights and slushies. Beer on tap for the non wine folks. I highly recommend the blueberry and Muscadine varieties.

Excellent quality of wines and you can taste the love, sweat, and hard work in each drink! The owner is knowledgeable, passionate about his wines, and is very welcoming - and his dog is awesome! We had a flight each so managed to taste all 10 wines and get souvenir glasses for $24 in total. This is definitely the way to go if you are new to fruity wines or have just not had theirs before. Each is really unique and you don't get a full appreciation of the taste just by the description. We ended up buying 4 bottles and would certainly look this place up for ordering more wine in the future when back home??

My fiancé and I were kid free for the afternoon and decided to go for a quick wine tasting at the Sweet Acre Farms Winery Tasting Room. The service was AMAZING. Staff was super friendly and their sweet wines were to die for! Besides, who doesn’t love a free wine glass to take home? We may go back tomorrow to grab a few more bottles before we head back to FL!

Wine is amazing. Lydia was friendly and professional. She knows her wines. This is a must do on your Helen list! We’ll be back…

No offense but the wine was awful. It's all fruit based wines and they offer tastings and flights. It just wasn't my taste.

We went for the Valentine couple meal, which was quite expensive. Our main course was cold and desert was not a good creame brulee.

We stopped by this winery in Helen. It was an easy walk from our airbnb on the river. We opted for a tasting and tried:No Drama Lama Sangria - goodSweet Nectarine - definitely a tart wine, but goodQuittin Time Lemon Strawberry - strong lemon, just okaySweet Ass Peach - good, nice and sweet peachSweet Blueberry - okaySweet Ass Strawberry - very goodSweet Ass Blackberry - has a bite to it, also a very tart wine, but good.Bramblin Sam - blackberry with apple; this was smoother thank sweet ass blackberry and also the sweetest one that they have; our favorite of the tastingSugar Pumpkin - I'll preface by saying that I do not like pumpkin, but I gave this one a try. I really have no idea what I was tasting, but to me, it did not taste like pumpkin. This is supposed to be a pumpkin wine with apples, brown sugar and honey, fortified with blueberry; Kevin got the apples and honey with blueberry at the end, but wasn't sure he got much pumpkin either. It was good, just very different. We ended up leaving with a bottle of Bramblin Sam and bottle of Sugar Pumpkin to serve at Thanksgiving this year. Service was good and friendly. We were the only ones there at the time until the end of our tasting when another couple came in.Definitely recommend if you are in the area and like fruit based wines.
