“Lakeview Tavern is by far one of the best places to eat in Georgia and North Carolina….the food is just so delicious and the Garden Wedge salad is the best I have ever had….only wish we had a place like this in Florida….our server Makayla was just so efficient and so personable…can’t wait to go back….had to drive an hour to get there but it was so worth it“

“I don't generally bother reviewing fast-food establishments. But my experience at the Hiawassee McDonald's was so good that I thought it a shame not to share. I got there right at 10:30 on a Sunday morning and they were still serving breakfast. I ordered your basic Egg McMuffin meal. It was as good as any that I've ever had in 40+ years. The Egg McMuffin was piping hot and fresh. Simply delicious. The hash brown was so hot that it almost burned me. The coffee was perfect. I ordered at the kiosk but the lady who served me my meal was a delight. Top marks to this McDonald's franchisee. This is how Ray Kroc would have wanted it. I worked in store management for McDonald's in the early-80s. So I know how it's supposed to be done. Kudos to Hiawassee!“

“My hubby and I stopped in for a pizza dinner one night while staying in Nantahala for the week. Very good food and an intimate cozy atmosphere. The server was very sweet and attentive as well! She recommended the house made Sangria and I loved it! We will be back when on vacation!“
