The staff was friendly and efficient. The pork itself was not bad but the sauce was vinegar based and too strong, overwhelming the pork. Same with the pickle, eye watering strong. Will try again sometime to see if the sauce issue corrects itself.
Very impressed with the level of service. The young lady that rang me up was very kind and patient to a first time customer. The order was prepared within 5min. Very fast. The pulled pork had good flavor but quite dry. The sauce was ok not the best there is. The rest of what they have is fantastic. Slaw is the best I can remember ever having and the Brunswick stew matches that excellence. You could be satisfied with just a bowl of the stew alone. Overall a great spot no wonder...
The pulled pork is more like diced or blended; you can get a better sandwich at a vending machine. Not much flavor, too much vinegar. I wouldn't call it BBQ. The slaw is run through some type of food processor; once you've pulverized a vegetable like that, eating it becomes unpleasant. The stew is just OK. The staff was nice and helpful. The place smells amazing, and the best part about the meal is I wasn't the one paying.
