I would avoid this place.
The old owner was very nice and the place was kept clean.
I recently came and we were the only ones there. The table was super sticky and the A/C had not been turned on. Before we sat down, I remembered I went into their kitchen once for my job and saw baby roaches and food splatter on walls. Their cooler didn’t look clean either. The loaded burrito lived up to it's name with plenty tender steak & chicken. The house salsa was better than most along with the rice that came with the burrito. We had a party of 6 and everyone seemed to enjoy their menu items. I would go there again.

The experience can be affected by slow service, but staff are friendly and willing to help. Mavericks Cantina remains a favorite spot for Mexican food in the area, with many customers eager to return.
