“My husband and I was looking for some place new to go for dinner and i found this place on the internet. We had never heard of it and it was close to our home so we decided to check it out. The set up is nice. I believe there are 3 or 4 dinning rooms. The staff was really nice and very attentive. We didnt make any reservations which they do prefer but they sat us still without a wait. The drinks were really good and they did not hold out on the amount of alcohol. Now the dinner. OMG Dinner was off the chain. I tip my hat off to the chef. I had the Honey Glaze Salmon and my husband is vegan so he had The Smoked spinach Asparagus Mashed potatoes and Brocolini. When I tell you this had to be the best food with so much flavor. We were more then pleased. The only complaint we have is the music got really loud. If couldnt hear each other even if you are sitting right next o each other. But other then that I will definitely return and I must say I am adding this to my list of best restaurants in Atlanta.“

“My first time at this place at the Atlanta airport to which I’m a frequent flyer. The drinks, service and atmosphere were top notch! Tai in particular always made sure my drinks were good and full, my food was hot and even went as far as helping me create a drink that I LOVED! She was beyond amazing and was beyond the expectations that you would think you would get at an airport bar or restaurant. She was always checking on me making sure my water was cold and full!! “The experience was more than I expected. My daughter whose in the Navy and stationed oversees came to visit but was leaving on Saturday so I wanted to spend a Friday night with her before she left. Well I was very pleased with the food and the atmosphere. Initially when we arrived I was ready to go to another spot due to it was dead but little did I know we were early. Our waitress I can’t remember her name was the bomb, I give this spot an 11 out of 10.“

“i had wings before from here and they were ok however tonight i ordered and had it delivered 2 orders of red beans and rice with catfish and not only was the cat fish undercooked but it was old and spoiled. It reeked i could never eat here again. Tje chef had to know that fish was no good.“

“I ordered a steak with fried okra and sweet potato fries. The steak was great and the sides were amazing! The breading on the okra was thin and crispy while the inside did not get gooey. The fries were fluffy and sweet on the inside. Our server was helpful with drink suggestions. I would definitely return.“

“Well… We were looking for a to-go meal and wanted something close by. As our search went, we came across this Irish Pub, as the name it was under. Looked at the menu and wife saw Pork chops, and some other sides that sounded like a winner.

So, I went to this place, located in Rex, at the Creekside Village shopping center, next to Food Depot.

Turns out that the name was changed to Urban Pub Bar and Grill. I remember seeing it once before and the place was packed in the evening hours. Parking isn’t an issue due to the shopping center lot, so no worries there.

Went in and it is a decent size place. The menu has changed just a bit since it was bought by another party. Still though, we could get most of what I saw of the menu online. Opted for the fried pork chop meal, added a side of fried okra, cabbage, greens and mac n cheese. It comes with 2 sides already with the meal. That was the cabbage and greens. Also added an extra chop too, it comes with just one.

The chops were seasoned just right, and the crunch was tops, and still moist inside. Someone knows how to cook back in that kitchen… The greens were spicy and excellent, and the cabbage was on point too. There was a piece of smoked meat in it and it was tasty… Then the mac n cheese, it was creamy and had a slight crust on top, tasted a few types of cheese in it, I thought one was Smoked Gouda, though I didn’t ask. The okra was also fried just right, crunchy and tender. Overall, it was a hit.

Lunch specials are advertised in the bar but was told that one or more may change soon.

It has a Stage, and pool table area (maybe 4 total), as well as some digital slots in the same area. A juke box too.

A main bar as you enter and plenty of seating. The have bands and Karaoke on certain days too. Car shows they host as well.

I went during the afternoon, so it wasn’t busy at all, but nights seem to be the party time. If the food is this good, then I can be assured that the rest of the menu items are more likely to be a hit.

“Shrimp tacos were legendary! Garlic knots; hot, tasty, and ohhh sooo delicious! Honey bbq wings were worth every bite and penny! Owner is such a lovely person, taking time to speak with us. Definitely a fabulous dining experience.“

Had a few great craft beers, but what really made it was Sergio, who did the drinks but also recommended the honey sriracha brussels sprouts - they are absolutely delicious! I run a few BBQ Schools in the UK and I will be doing my homage to this inspired dish on future BBQ Courses - with full credit going to the Atlanta Hawks Bar & Grill at Atlanta Airport!
