I would recommend this restaurant. The food is the best.

I can’t tell you about the atmosphere it was a drive through. All of the food in my opinion was very salty. I got the special smothered chicken that was fried very doughy with grave placed on top. My mom ordered turkey wings she got half of a wing. The dressing was very mid actually all of the sides.

FYI Guys the Store is ONLY OPENED SUNDAY MON AND TUESDAY. Great food though it was cold. No flats - My dip blue cheese was not there - My drinks were not included and i paid for them. I am literally 2 blocks from them and it took 1.35 hrs to get my meal. Cold Limp fries - Cold condensation drenched wings and no blue cheese dip - no drink - You do the review based off of that customer service.

This is a drive up and cook to order restaurant.
Pros: Food was excellent. Staff was kind.

Cons: Be prepared for long car line followed by the wait for cook to order food.

Ordered via DoorDash (DoorDash fees outrageous) I googled this place and realized I pass it all the time for about four years now-I always thought they were closed. Next time I’ll go pickup to save on fees.

The menu on DoorDash only mentions one side with the chopped steak and it’s Chinese vegetables, although the picture displays green beans and mac & cheese. Should definitely update the DoorDash menu. The turkey wings also came with an additional side of mac & cheese. I wasn’t expecting. That’s great if you like mac & cheese. Since I didn’t know that the meal came with Mac, I could have ordered it as a side and would’ve wished I knew in order to save money. Having it listed properly will give me the opportunity to change it.

Great portion size. Great Menu. I’ll definitely be ordering from here again. Highly recommend. 5 star. I heard it’s a drive-through only and it looks like a small building on the corner in the plaza with Goodwill, it’ll be interesting to see the process of going there to order.

Now that I’ve ate and let my food digest. Let me start off by saying service was quick. I placed my order right when they opened. This was my first time eating here. I got the turkey wing dinner with dressing, Mac and cheese, greens, and piece of red velvet cake….
The turkey wing was so tender and flavorful…the dressing was delicious as well.
The greens were delicious but I think it should say on the menu that it comes with onions tomatoes and jalapeño for those who may be allergic… I’m not a fan of either but I’m glad it was just sitting on top and I was able to pick it off. I gave 4 stars because the Mac and cheese lacked flavor. It just tastes like noodles and cheese and I love Mac and cheese and was hoping this would be good as cheesy as it was.
Lastly that red velvet cake 🤤🤤🤤 so moist and delicious. Will definitely be back to try other items in the future…

Lewis has the best soul food in town hands down. I have tried almost everything from the chicken wings, chicken sandwich, chopped steak, and all the delicious sides and desserts. Food is delicious!! I crave it everyday. Yes it is worth the wait and worth the money especially if u get alot of food. They want it to be fresh not cold. Best soul food I ever had. Sorry Mom😅
