This was a knee-jerk stop because my mother in law wanted a milkshake after her surgery, and this was the only non-chain place that had them.

When I walked in, I was immediately taken back to kioskis/snack shops in Houston and northern Mexico. Even though the restaurant had apparently been dead all day, there was the smell of ice cream and masa. Because it sparked some nostalgia I wound up getting dinner as well as the shake: two sopes, a torta, strawberry...

My husband and I have been going here for a while. They have some of the best desserts and I am OBSESSED with their Gansito flavored ice cream, I truly get it as often as I can because there is NOTHING like it! Also, they’ve recently added food to their menu and I love to get the pizza - birria and it is a TRULY tasty delight . The portions are perfect for what we ordered! I just wish I could get their ice cream by the gallon??

I forgot to take a pic the food is GONE. Lol I live in the neighborhood behind this place and the FOOD was good. Just recently moved to this area and I’m happy about the food choices I have around me, I will definitely be back. Friendly family owned restaurant.
