Nice folk, lots of locals, kind service, good drinks. The fare seems to be heavy pub type food, different and tastes good but it's heavy in oils and fats, not my type, but the appetizer was unique and delicious, just wet with cooking oil.
The food is great but the service is terrible. None of the employees seemed particularly happy to be there, least of all our server (glasses, brown hair, she never gave her name), and we had to go find someone any time we needed something. The food really is very tasty, it’s a shame the service is so bad.
We always love coming to bar north for trivia on wednesdays at 7:30. (Make sure you call ahead or you might not get a seat!) We've been coming for a couple years now and David is such a great host!! He's funny and plays good music for the questions. As long as you listen to the rules of the game, it's smooth sailing for all who play.
