the last time i went the lady i placed an order with over the phone was the same lady who cooked my food and took my payment. she gave me two sides of mac when i asked for mac and collared greens. there was also hair in my food. will not be returning.

The chicken and veggies were pretty good....but the price is rather astronomical for what it is. The okra is REALLY tasty and I would probably just order that if I ever go back. The chicken was good...probably not in the top 5 I've ever had, but there was nothing at all wrong with it. The service was VERY good and the gent who took care of us really did a fine job. However, we were one of two tables there on a Friday night so I don't really think they're getting a lot of business....probably because of how high the price is.

One of the best meals I’ve ever eaten, made with love. Made fresh. Meal was hot, crispy, and perfect. Greens and beans were to die for. Hands down I would have this as a last meal. Wonderful service, history and made a new friend. I would support this business all day everyday. Traditional and meaningful meal. I’m so grateful

Hot. Fresh. Delicious. 10/10 great service. They have chocolate chess pie for Pete’s sake! The menu is simple- think “southern summer / after church picnic,” except it’s so delicious you’ll think you already died and went to heaven. If I had to have a last meal, this would be it! I never thought fried chicken could be this delicious. That skin was the most crispy, perfect, amazing golden delicious goodness I have literally ever tasted in my life. The meat is tender, flavorful, juicy, perfection. I don’t often write reviews, but this food fed my SOUL and I just had to tell somebody! Even the LEFTOVERS still taste amazing the next day! Have you ever said that about leftover fried chicken before? Me neither. But here I am! Try it and go change your life!

These guys have my favorite fried chicken bar none. It’s freshly fried so it takes a second but man oh man is it good. The juices and the oil come spilling out and it’s crispy as can be. Legitimately can’t be beat in my eyes, never had it fresher anywhere.

Got the two piece platter. Finally, real fried chicken. Would have preferred a side item option without the uncharged.
I heard many rave about the Mac and cheese. It was alright. The cole slaw was amazing. Chicken? Cooked all the wat through but still tender!
Service was amazing. Extremely welcoming and friendly to ALL the customers. I'll be back!
