I tried Tom & Chee when they first opened many years ago and have been hooked ever since. It seemed like an odd concept (toasted cheeses) but oh my goodness.....the options they put together are amazing. We unfortunately moved to Florida last year, but stop every time we come back though the area. If you like slightly spicy, try the Chicken Phoenix. It's not on the menu, but my favorite! I used to bring my office staff here and it was always a hit.
I stopped into Tom + Chee while out shopping in Kennesaw with a friend. We both ordered the Tom and Chee Melt with a Creamy Tomato dipper, and it was really tasty! The bread was nice and buttery, and toasted perfectly. I picked the simple grilled cheese with only tomatoes and cheese, but it was perfectly cheesy and fresh from the tomatoes. I've always looked for a sandwich and soup place...and this place hit the spot! The food was reasonably priced and at a fair serving. The staff was super friendly, as they came out a couple times to clear our plates and asked if they could get us anything else.
