This is a Popeyes in a truck stop. It's usually pretty good you know normal Popeyes stuff. This time not so much I've eaten here several times so this was just a one-off but I'll share it with you. Service was pretty good but the chicken came out old and tough and kind of cold. It was definitely overcooked and the pieces were pretty small. Must have gotten a bad batch of chicken and overcooked it and set up on the table for a while before I got it. It came out quick...

I ordered online this afternoon and my husband picked it up on his way home 30 miles away.. everything was perfect from the beginning to the end. The red beans and rice was still hot. Not dry very creamy and very good. Chicken was excellent! I've had a hard time at other Popeyes and I can always count on this store every time. Thank you everyone for making sure the customers are happy. We know we appreciate it! ❤️

Stopped here as it was my husband's choice. I had given up on Popeyes after several disappointing meals in the Metro Washington DC area. THIS location was on point with lightly breaded very crispy tenders, and a spicy chicken sandwich containing a huge piece of meat.
