Just had lunch with my brother. Visiting from Montana and he wanted some good southern food. Shirley hit a home run! Fried chicken wings. My favorite 😍. Field peas. Seasoned perfectly. Macaroni and cheese. Cheesy and creamy 😋 Slaw was perfect 🤤. Of course sweet tea. Went away stuffed and ready for a nap 😴.
I absolutely enjoy the food here! The fried pork chops are to die for! Because of how loving Ms. Shirley is, it's so easy to feel like you're family! Christy is a doll! Just wonderful Christian people!
Stopped here after a delivery in Lagrange.
10$ to park. which I probably didn’t have to pay because they close and the places is deserted after 10 PM.
I always hope to find a little Jim at these truckstop restaurants that I run into but sad to say I was not very impressed with this particular country kitchen .
I think maybe I just came at the end of the day when they were almost out of food and we’re not going to make any more so I kinda had to take...
