Hope this place opens back up sad to see it’s temporarily closed :( some of the best bbq I’ve ever had. Come through here for work from time to time and always look forward to this gem of a spot hope to see it open again soon
Just an average looking restaurant with above average barbecue, full of flavor and no gristle. the stew was also very good thick and chunky. The southern slaw was different than I’ve ever had and would love to eat it again.
If you haven’t tried Southern Appalachian Smokehouse yet, you’re missing out. Truly a little gem in lavonia!!The pork rinds are unreal, the pimento cheese dip is a must, and their wings are my favorite around. They also catered our Christmas party and everything was delicious. So thankful to have a place like this right here in Lavonia!
