They were quick to jump in to help with other wedding needs throughout the night. Anything I needed, they stepped in to help, no questions asked. “I am going to leave a review on every platform because I’ve been searching for a new wing spot and this place is IT for me 🔥 My mother in law brought home honey lemon pepper, honey hot, and jerk wings. I don’t ever order wet wings because it’s rare to find somewhere who makes em right. This place had them wet AND still crispy! The fried okra was the BEST I’ve ever had! They weren’t greasy, the breading didn’t fall off and even right now they’re cold but still crispy! The Mac and Cheese must be great too because my picky eater ate hers so fast I didn’t even get to look at it. 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽“

“This is nice to eat outside, but they have indoors as well. Great service and food, while the ambience is plain, but it's often an event space which explains it. Also, if you're more comfortable with hallal, you're in luck.

The cevapi with cream cheese and ajvar on the fantastic lipenja which was grilled with little bits of crispiness on the edges was soooo good.

They had a special which they called filet, which was with mashed potatoes, asparagus, brown gravy and meat, but it is not a filet mignon, but a regular filet of steak about 1.3 cm (half an inch) thick, to be clear. There is a clear difference between the buttery tenderness of a filet mignon and a regular filet of steak. The request was medium well, but it ended up well done. It's tricky because meat keeps cooking for a minute after it's taken from the heat, and at the point of medium well, if not removed slightly early, it becomes well done.

Thanks to the restaurant for feeding Lawrenceville's finest as it's apparently popular with some of the local police as a place to have great coffee and eat.

The coffee is proper coffee like you'd find in the Balkans, Ukraine, Israel, etc. It's not Turkish coffee but is the excellent quality you expect in the region, just like you find quality coffee in Italy, and these are far superior to anything you can get at Starbucks or any coffee shop I've been to in the States. Maybe it's Aroma Kava. So good. It's so nice to not have sad drip coffee. I didn't ask if they have rakia.

Also, the tea we were given was bottled Gold Peak tea. I was able to get a regular glass of water also although I know they have bottled water as I asked, and I think they have hot tea.“

“Best tacos al pastor that I've ever had. If you ever had them authentic, you know that they've got to come off of a rotisserie and they've got to have some char on the edges. My God these were so good I wanted to ask the cook if she was married. The only other alternative was to have gone all all Johnny Depp to restore the balance and I couldn't do that. You won't be sorry that you came here to eat. I know it doesn't look like much but I've found that the best street tacos are always in a hole in the wall.“

“Outstanding Food and Overall Experience! - Reservation for 8 to celebrate my youngest daughter's birthday (4:30 on a Friday). We almost changed our mind, because we learned my oldest daughter and her hubby had a bad experience at this restaurant in 2021. So glad we gave it another chance. Restaurant is under new management, and it shows! From the greeters at the door with smiles making a first impression, to a personable, attentive server (LeLe), excellent food and engagement by the manager being visible and interacting with guests - it was well worth our time. Total enjoyment! Our group had the snapper, salmon, shrimp & grits, catfish and one vegetarian who made a meal from the sides. Food was beautifully plated and presented and everything was hot & fresh, well seasoned and tasted great. Generous portions too. We also had the bourbon glazed brussels, skillet cornbread and the sticky ribs as appetizers. HIGHLY recommend the brussels and the ribs!! It was the first day testing the ribs, so you may have to ask for them, if they're not on the menu yet. Appreciated the free birthday dessert! If you had a previous bad experience over the last couple of years, you may want to try again. The new manager has the right attitude and a good vision for setting a new standard for The Parkside District. Keep it up! We will definitely visit again. We are glad to recommend the restaurant!“
