Izzy's continues to impress my wife and I with their great pizza and wonderful service. Tonight, a small mix-up resulted in our receiving a small pizza, rater than the large we ordered. We didn't mind the mistake, as any Izzy's pizza is wonderful, but the staff wouldn't hear of it, and immediately rushed back to the kitchen to prepare us a large pie. Even as we enjoyed the small pizza, which was very good. This is the kind of customer service that is sadly...
I paid nearly $30 for a large half supreme half pepperoni with extra cheese on whole pizza. I finally made it home and the half with supreme was burned so bad I had to toss that pizza. I was very upset because I had not eaten all day. At least my grandkids enjoyed their half. But that is a lot to pay for burned pizza.
I'm a tough critic of pizza places cuz I'm from Chicago. Yo...the food at Izzy's is freakin amazing! I found this place, looking for some good NY style pizza a couple of years ago and I found it. I've been a patron ever since. My two favs are the slices and the Strombolis. Even the wings are good! So yourself a solid and stop by... you won't regret it!
