nary a thing was seasoned. like literally. nothing i ordered. I had to doctor up the greens and mac at home just for my fiance to want to eat it. the ribs were literally JUST ribs. im not gonna lie. as a kansas city native, this place is a disgrace to BBQ. Sorry. not sorry. Never thought I'd recommend Jim N Nicks or Fox Bros over a BBQ spot - but even those are better.
the brisket is life changing
Good quality food and helpful staff. Expect around $15-20 per person at current prices. (It's inside the convenience store.)
If you haven't tried the Tipsy Pig BBQ, you don't know what you're missing! This place is a little hole in the wall inside a gas station. As a chef for over 15 years, I can honestly say thank god I ran into this restaurant. The customer service from the moment you walk in is INCREDIBLE. They are so welcoming and attentive to all customers. The food, to say the least, is AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS, JUICY, SUCCULENT FALL OFF THE BONE BBQ MEATS! We had the rib plate and 2 sides & also the 2 meat plate and 2 sides. OMGGGGGG It was beyond our wildest expectation. Homemade BBQ sauce is overly DELICIOUS! The mac and cheese was on point cheesy & creamy, hot & well seasoned collard greens. The green beans were also well seasoned & hot. The potatoe salad was fresh & cold as it should definitely be.. along with the coleslaw, which, in my opinion, was the best I've ever tried other than KFC. The blackberry cobbler. OMG is another favorite ? I can go on & on about this place, but SERIOUSLY ITS A MUST EAT if you're ever in the Five Forks Trickum area just off Oak Dr. drop oj by and try there BBQ you wont regret it! We LOVED it & I'm sure you and your family would LOVE IT AS WELL. BTW... THEY HAVE SO MANY BEST OF GWINNETT AWARDS & NOW I KNOW WHY.
Parking: The gas station parking is limited, but if you get there and can't find parking, just park on the side or in the back at the shopping center and walk on over.

I was honestly so excited to try this place because I had been craving barbecue. Unfortunately it was a very big let down. The best thing that I had from here was the Carolina vinegar barbecue sauce. I would give that a 10 out of 10. The pulled pork had no Smoky flavor and actually had no flavor at all. It was also torn up into little pieces which I have never seen before. The bread that comes with it is literally just some sandwich bread definitely nothing special about it. The mac and cheese was overcooked and had no salt and pepper again was missing flavor. The baked beans were decent I would give them a 5 out of 10. Unfortunately I've had better from Sonny's BBQ where they actually put pulled pork into the baked beans these were just regular old baked beans. I tasted the coleslaw while I was there while it had a decent flavor it was cut up into to big of chunks for my liking. The last thing that I tried was the Stew which was horrible. This too had no flavor at all other than the pulled pork that was in this actually had some smoke flavor. I'm not sure why they're not seasoning their food but that's one of the reasons why I won't be returning in the future. Also the corn that was in the stew had absolutely no taste at all while there was a crunch that was all there was to it. ?

I order a BBQ and it tastes approximately raw. Nothing on it tastes good at all. They didn't put any effort in the BBQ. It kinda taste nasty. It doesn't have any seasoning.

Brisket was surprisingly good, tender, flaking apart. Naked beans and fries were good. The blueberry cobbler was a good as my grandmother's.

I really wanted to like this place but the ribs I got were just ok and the Mac and cheese was subpar. Looks like they just boiled some noodles separately and then dumped into a cheese sauce and served.

Very friendly staff & great customer service. Was hesitant to try this place because it is located inside of a gas station, but overall I'm glad I did. My favorites were the ribs & potato salad. The greens were a bit too spicy for me, and the mac n cheese was a little bland. I would still go back and try other menu items.
The food is GREAT, but their customer service needs work. They can't handle big crowds that well. If they had a restaurant they would clean up because their food is that good.
