Dive bar. Had a dj during the day, during the week. Older crowd.. like grey hair older. Don't expect anything fancy and you'll have fun. I didn't eat.

Zoo Tavern feels like a small town bar. I've been there three times and the staff already remembers my order. The drinks aren't watered down. The food is great, especially the french fries. The background noise isn't loud. The staff and regulars are friendly and conversational.

I’ve been attending his bar for 5+ times and never was asked for my ID. I visited this bar recently and the manger was beyond disruptive. She requested ID BEFORE we even asked for drinks. Which is understandable (following the law). However, NONE of the employees that we have seen have asked us for that before. EVER. The problem is not in the fact that she’s asked used for our ID (which any one of us can provide). The problem was that NOT ONE of her the employees of the “business that she was training” did not ask for that before. I hold her completely accountable for not training each and every person the LEGAL WAY. This is on management. Handle your business. Please address

I don't normally comment, but this time I was very angry. When I gave her my ID she went to the back room and I didn't know what she was doing. She was supposed to check if I was over 21, but she took my ID like a cop and went to the back room. I encountered it for the first time. NOTE = I have traveled to many countries and this is the first time I see this type of waiters.

One of my favorite places ever. It's my neighborhood place. The people are awesome, the food is great and prices that can't be neat anywhere else. Also, free pool to boot!!

I like this place. It is more than a bar, it is a meeting point for friends and family, where you can have a drink and share time with everyone. The attention of the bartenders is excellent, and the treatment of Sharon and Ray is warm and special, they make you feel like family, the food is 100% recommended, I love the beef nachos and buttery nipples! Cheers! I miss beer pitchers.
