Zoo Tavern feels like a small town bar. I've been there three times and the staff already remembers my order. The drinks aren't watered down. The food is great, especially the french fries. The background noise isn't loud. The staff and regulars are friendly and conversational.

I don't normally comment, but this time I was very angry. When I gave her my ID she went to the back room and I didn't know what she was doing. She was supposed to check if I was over 21, but she took my ID like a cop and went to the back room. I encountered it for the first time. NOTE = I have traveled to many countries and this is the first time I see this type of waiters.

One of my favorite places ever. It's my neighborhood place. The people are awesome, the food is great and prices that can't be neat anywhere else. Also, free pool to boot!!

This place is an absolute dump! They are so racist. The bartender needs to be retrained for professionalism and relearn how to make drinks especially since everything taste like bottom of the barrel scraps. In 45 years I have never seen someone mess up an old fashion. You're better off getting tipsy off of rubbing alcohol and hand sanitizer. The bathrooms are remarkably atrocious. A truck stop has bathrooms more clean and smell a million times better.

I’ve been attending his bar for 5+ times and never was asked for my ID. I visited this bar recently and the manger was beyond disruptive. She requested ID BEFORE we even asked for drinks. Which is understandable (following the law). However, NONE of the employees that we have seen have asked us for that before. EVER. The problem is not in the fact that she’s asked used for our ID (which any one of us can provide). The problem was that NOT ONE of her the employees of the “business that she was training” did not ask for that before. I hold her completely accountable for not training each and every person the LEGAL WAY. This is on management. Handle your business. Please address

If I could give this place a zero star I would. The old hag bartender and owner that we saw outside and decided to act like nothing happened are trash!. Both have 0% customer etiquette and professionalism.

Customer service is so unprofessional. They need to learn house to treat customers. I came out to sing karaoke and got refused service because the girl manager was asking for my id even tho I’ve been there 10 or more times we even showed our id and asked for water. Guess that made her mad cus water is not much of a profit in sales. Also she wants to be racist to my Latino husband. If you want a business of profit treat you customers right
