Big RED FLAG! My hamburger steak and with onions were Luke warm on the outside and cool on the inside. It seems like it may have been partially reheated from a leftover (onions were extremely overcooked, yet lukewarm). I had to send my food back to be heated up. My wife’s rice was not hot. Perhaps the system that keeps the food hot wasn’t working properly.
The food is normally great but today someone decided to put a whole box of salt in the turkey legs and vegetables. The last thing that black Americans need is over salted food!!!!

This place is an experience. You walk in and there is usually some very touching gospel music playing while you wait in line. You get hungrier and hungrier thanks to the amazing smells of the foods. You get up to the buffet and realize there is so much to choose from and every bit of it looks delicious. This is true, authentic southern cooking.
