Bearfoot Tavern is open again after a major redo following a roof collapse. Same basic layout with newer materials. Place was busy but not packed. Both beer and soda were flat. Food was good, when it finally arrived. First item out in 15 minutes. Then 15 more for the next couple. And so on. Took nearly an hour for all items in our party of 11 to arrive. Waitstaff couldn’t get a handle on it beyond “kitchen is backed up”. Why? Apparently because their kitchen is also serving The Social Duck next door that opened with the BT redo. Overwhelmed Recommend staying away until this gets worked out. If you go, ask about the kitchen situation.

Scott is still out here selling some amazing food. I had their special Mac and cheese chicken bowl with a side of Buffalo sauce.

I sat outside and got great service from a nice woman.

It was absolutely amazing and reasonably priced. I'll be back!

*Food truck review!
Great experience overall! I got the Poutine Fries. My first time having beer cheese and it was amazing! Fries were cooked perfectly, brisket was very nice with the brown gravy. Perfect flavor combo! Savory as ever! Hit the spot! They know what they are doing!
Customer service is top notch! They've been at Tractor Supply on Eisenhower frequently.

Temporarily closed due to construction, I am sure once they are able to re-open it will be just as much fun to go there as ever!

This is a must if you're in Macon. Food was amazing! You have to get the pimento cheese bites. They were some of the best things I've ever had. Staff was amazingly friendly and welcoming. Justice was our server she was amazing. She offered up ideas for drinks and food and her suggesting were awesome. Mark the general manager came over and greeted the table he introduced himself as the general manager band made us feel extremely welcome. The place was very clean and so was the bathrooms.

The food was subpar and took a fair amount of time, despite the fact that we were one of 3 tables. The beers were just fine. Ordered a flight, and they brought out the wrong beer because their menu was wrong, and they replaced and IPA with a cider and seemed to just hope we wouldn’t notice.
The staff was nice enough, but go to Ocmulgee Brewpub next door if you actually want good service/beer/atmosphere/food. This place is more expensive while being a much worse experience.
