I work on the campus where Edgar's Bistro is located so I can literally call down to place my order and pick it up. That being said, Edgar's has changed a bit since I've been going there. The restaurant is now a student training facility. They are only open seasonally and only for limited hours. In the current quarter, Edgar's is open Wed - Fri, 11am to 2 pm. Also, the menu changes seasonally.This quarter, I have tried roughly 50% of the menu so far and everything...
A very good Restaurant with students showing their learned and learning culinary and hospitality skills. Our waitress Tara was very friendly and helpful on our choices of lunch items. Shitaki BLT and the Flat Iron Steak both were very good. Come on out and try it. Yes their hours of operation are not 7 days a week. But the days they are open make it a point to go out and enjoy a good meal, and helping culinary college students improve their skills.
I visited Edgar's Bistro for the first time with my best friend and I was totally impressed. We were quickly seated and our server was friendly and professional. I ordered the Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken Breast for starters. The chicken was grilled to perfection, very flavorful and juicy. My entree was the steak au pouvire. The steak was flavorful, not overseasoned like you get in some steak restaurants. The mashed potatoes were great and the vegetables were tender...
