I’ve been sitting in the restaurant with one other couple for an hour. Food finally came out together on a cart. We have since finished and haven’t seen our waitress for 45 min. Go to Applebees I warm you. Food was ok but not worth the money.

I should have done more research before booking here. The room itself was mediocre. The ALL NIGHT trains was more than expected. We kept thinking, that must be the last one, but nope. They came by every hour or so. To top it all off, a week or so after our stay I discovered a Fee on my charge card. Resort Fees, are you kidding me !! No only did we pay for the room but paid extra for watching trains pass by all night long !! Check the other reviews first, then you’ll see what I’m saying is not just me.

Great customer service we left another hotel down the street smell liked smoke and the ladies on front desk here help to put us in clean and safer place can’t thank you enough for coming to our rescue close to 75 and restaurants

I travel for work every week. I specifically requested a late check out (I work night shift) and was told by front desk staff upon check in that this request would be honored. Alas...at 11:03 am, housekeeping staff attempted to enter my room, even though the "do not disturb" sign was on the door.

Reading some of the reviews you would of thought we were staying in a dungeon. Our room was ready when we got there, quick service at the desk, answered all my questions. The hallways were well lit and recently updated last year or two. The room was fine, looked like it was updated, new sink and floor. Bed was comfortable. Plenty towels (three large towels). My wife and I had dinner in their restaurant, limited menu but since they are not very busy better to keep it simple, also have liquor, food was fine and Shatiqua our waitress was very attentive and made fresh brewed tea when I asked for it. Had breakfast at the same place the next morning, no charge. Pool is fairly good size and heated, easy to get into. Only complaint, I am in my 60’s and they have beach chairs low to the ground, didn’t even try them with my back. They need regular outdoor chairs, plenty of clean towels were available. This Holiday Inn has a large patio in the back looking into the woods, would be a nice place to hang out in summer if they put some comfortable chairs out there. My wife and I are staying in a similar Holiday Inn in Jacksonville, this one has very good ratings but I notice nothing different between the two similar designed hotel. This one charges $10.95 for their breakfast. PS- my wife and I have stayed at all the major brand hotels over the last 30 years. We get enough points over the years to have gotten many a free night. My review is based on experience and we had a good experience at this hotel. Keep it up management!

I had decided to stay here for a staycation as some work in my appartment was being done. As an upper-tier IHG member I thought I'd stay in this hotel which is really impressive from the outside. The check in was brisk, just friendly enough, and thanked me for my status. I had to ask for info about breakfast, pool, etc. This is where the nice part ends. Even the elevator feels like it's in a hospital. The hallways are nicer than the rooms, and that's not saying much. I was originally placed in room 401. I was surprised to see how dingy the room was and how tattered the bedding was, the walls scraped, and the headboards looked like they had never been wiped down. Then I walked into the bathroom where the first thing I noticed was that the conditioner was half full, I turned around to look at the shower which looks like it belongs in a hospital. Then I saw a roach scurry across the bottom of the shower floor. I was shocked. I went down to the front desk and discretely asked them for another room. They looked concerned but not surprised. They asked if I would be comfortable with a room that is on the train tracks side. I laughed. What kind of question is this? I was then told I would be awarded points for the inconvenience. Those haven't posted. They then put me in 201, I did my check of the room and saw there was small bugs in the shower, and then peeled back the sheet to find long black hair. I was out of there. I passed by the front desk and there was nobody there. I left. I emailed the manager directly afterwards, and still haven't heard a response. SHOCKING. I was considering dining at the restaurant, but it looked so dark and the employees were seated around a table. Strange for their image. But after the room fiasco, that was out. I should have listened to the Trip Advisor reviews. This hotel should be avoided unless you are desperate. I am considering contacting the better business bureau if I do not hear back from the management.

Incredibly slow service, and we were the only customers in the place. The presentation and interactions seem almost like a parody of fine dining. Do yourself a favor and go up the street to Outback or Wagers Grill.

Hotel was nice. Stayed only one night. This property is close enough to I-75 as well. Check in was fine. Staff does seem a little uninterested in their job though. They have a restaurant and bar on site so that gives the property a nice touch. My hotel room was pretty clean and had no real issue with my room. They have a nice indoor pool as well. There is no free breakfast here though. Rooms are pretty loud here though, you can hear everything. Bathrooms were short on toilet paper too. All in all I would stay here again next time i'm in Macon. Hotel is easy to get to from anywhere in Macon as well.

Hotel as a whole is mediocre, not quite up to typical HI standards, but I’ve seen worse. Room was clean. The biggest issue is the location. It’s next to an active rail line! Even worse, these trains run in the middle of the night! Unless you are a heavy sleeper, you will not get much rest. I sure didn’t. Look elsewhere if visiting Macon.

Upon check in, they didn’t have to room I booked. Then I got to the room, it was dirty. There was food in the refrigerator. My sheets were dirty. There was no towels in the room. So I had to go back to the front desk. They did change my room. The second room still had no towels. So I had to go back downstairs to get towels. I will not be returning to this establishment

There was bodily fluids on the head board, blood/ feces on the bathroom door, a blood stain on the bed spread, gunk all over the walls, the plug in didn’t work, and the Ac didn’t work. The floor was not clean either. Black foot prints in the bathroom… overall, this place was dirty. VERY DIRTY. My mom got out of the shower and came to the bed and her feet were covered in dirt. For nearly $200 a night we expected the room to be clean at least. Terrible experience.

I have stayed here many times for work as they are one of the few hotels that have a bar. Not sure if Covid has taken it’s toll but this hotel has taken a huge step down. Disgusting in every aspect including the rooms common areas and bar. Bartender showed up late for work and was not interested in helping anyone anyway. This was my last stay here.

Worst hotel I have ever seen! First room curtains falling down. Not clean! Second room they assigned to us was infested with ladybugs! Checked out! What a nightmare! Disgusting!!!!! Don’t even consider coming here! Did not feel safe!
