We visited on Saturday evening and loved the vibe of this brewpub. The waitress was great with answering our questions and service was good. The burgers were cooked exactly as we ordered them and all ingredients were fresh. Their sauces were a highlight… the jalapeño ranch was to rave about. Excellent hint of heat in a homemade ranch made this the perfect pairing with their hand cut fries. The beer selection was solid and our choices were delicious- the Riverside and the Peach sour were both ones we would recommend. Finding parking on a Saturday night was the only part of this experience that was less than stellar. We will definitely be back.

We ate here a couple of times when visiting Macon to plan for my daughter’s wedding. We were so impressed with the friendly staff and delicious food, so we asked if they could host our wedding party for dinner after the wedding rehearsal. They did an absolutely amazing job, they went above and beyond our expectations, they even decorated the tables!!! We had a great time, enjoyed good food and outstanding service, and we are so thankful that they made our night great!

My husband and I love coming here when we visit Macon. It our “must go to” place when visiting family in Macon. We haven’t been in over a year and unfortunately this visit was terrible. We waited for 20 mins in a long line waiting to be sat, when there were several empty tables inside and outside, yet no one anywhere to seat us. Once we were seated we ordered drinks and food and waited and waited and waited. After sitting for 45 mins, we still didn’t have drinks so I asked what was going on. After waiting another 15 mins we finally got drinks and food followed 30 mins later. That’s right…. We were at the brewery for 1hr and 5 mins before getting a drink and food came later. The waitress acknowledged our wait after I got her attention, but that was just about it. Whatever the new concept is of waiting to be sat, placing order with waitress isn’t working here. PLEASE CHANGE it back!!! In the past we knew we could drop for a quick drink, good food and visit and get out within an hour. Unfortunately, I doubt we will go back to the place we love.

Thus has been our go to for burgers and beer since it opened but no longer. Do not like table service or new decor. The burgers were ok but nothing special. We still enjoy the beers but not the bar concept. What used to be a unique place is now just another average burger joint.

Good food, beer, and service. Sweet potato fries are crisp and tasty, and the pretzels are good. Great outside seating, and you can bring your pooch.

Ever since the remodeling, everything about this place is subpar now. Too many wait staff with little competence. Went here last night, giving grace because there was a festival and it was a saturday night. Burger was tasty however it was lukewarm, along with cold soggy fries that I know were sitting in the window (need to invest in better heat lamps). There was no sense of urgency, and clearly no proper training in hospitality. Bring back order window and no wait staff. Bartender lacks service skills.

Food is great as ever. As for their new “full bar” it is not good, they do not distinguish all alcohol sales are final on their menu yet they expect you to pay for a drink that is clearly being experimented with their new bartenders. Also their new style of restaurant service sucks. As well as the wait time for food, compared to the last style of service where you ordered at the counter and sat where you pleased. I have been a fan of ocmulgee brewpub for years as a local but after this new conversion it does not compare and Im disappointed that my family and I lost an OG favorite spot.

Edited: buffalo chicken & street corn load fries (I think we have tried them all by now).
Cheese steak loaded fries, patty melt, and onion rings were great. Eat onion rings while they are hot! Once they get cold, they get really rich, but that is true most everywhere.
