For the gluten free seeker: They offer GF white bread so breakfast and lunch sandwiches can be GF. They have GF quiche and a nice variety of GF scones and GF pastries. They keep their GF baked goods in a glass case up front so you can see what you’re ordering. My pastries were delicious and although my quiche could have been warmed up a little longer it was very tasty. This is a great spot to stop in for a light breakfast, lunch or a coffee and get some work done.

We always have the best time here -- we'll reserve the back room and bring our scrapbook stash and just enjoy several hours of great drinks, friendly service, and wonderful vibes. Sometimes we'll try another place for a change of scene but we always come back to Taste & See. Have solid options for gf and dairy-free.
Good as always

My absolute favourite coffee shop that I've ever been to and that's because of two things, it actually has unique and delicious coffee I can't get elsewhere and it's the perfect amount of cozy. For reference, I actually dislike coffee shops due to the repetitive flavours of chai that I order because I can't have coffee and that's another reason I don't go to coffee shops. There is something unique about the flavours of their drinks though and it is the best I've ever had. The seating inside is inviting convenient and I might actually be a coffee shop girl now but only at this place. The team members are wonderful and kind and diligent and bring your order to you and make it in a good amount of time. What I mean by good amount, is instead of making some bs drink and popping some flavour in, they're actually making drinks so it takes time and I appreciate that more than you know. Great job, best coffee shop in the states hands down.

Quiet, soothing, comfortable coffee shop with a forest vibe, great food and coffee/tea, and lovely, helpful service. I spent way too long and ate way too many baked goods, but Taste and See has the advantage (for me) of having almost everything gluten free. (Their sandwiches can be on regular bread, but the items in the bakery case are GF and very tasty.) One of my new favorite places.

Great coffee and sandwich shop on one of the main streets in downtown Macon. It doubles as a gallery so there’s plenty to see while you wait or eat and drink. The coffees are great and their sandwiches delicious, I specifically recommend the Alamo bagel. Also, seldom have I encountered such friendly staff. Didn’t get their names but shoutout to the staff working yesterday around noon!

What a beautiful little gem of a coffee shop right in downtown! So many little, lovely nooks and crannies where you can sit, sip your coffee, and just exist. My sugar cookie latte was delicious and the girls behind the counter were super kind and helpful ❤️ I will definitely be back!

I order 2 drinks one Mudslinger and one Iced White Chocolate Mocha. BEST ICED MOCHA I have ever had!. The staff was absolutely the sweetest staff I have seen in a coffee shop. The lady offered to make my husband something else because he didn't like the Mudslinger and she was very great with ideas. I will be back very soon. Atmosphere is very relaxing lots of places to sit and relax.

Macon go to coffee spot when we driving to the coast from ATL. Good coffee and surprisingly fresh and good sandwiches. They have a good kitchen and staff is always helpful! Beautiful patio off main lobby with lots of plants and seating.
I’d say the only drawback is the interior of the cafe seems dated - if you’re looking for a really “hip and modern vibes” coffee shop in downtown Macon - they don’t exist … this is your best spot

Big fan of this coffee shop. It has an excellent vibe for staying awhile and relaxing, that “coffee shop” experience you want (right now, there is chill lounge / jazz instrumental music playing quietly). And the quality of food and drink is excellent.
Grab a baked good (had a slice of butterbeer cheesecake today, a fun surprise!) or slice of quiche with your coffee and unwind!
I have also brought my kids here in the past, they love the hot chocolate and sitting near the fireplace area. They made the hot chocolate cooler for the kids, too, which I really appreciated.
