Macon go to coffee spot when we driving to the coast from ATL. Good coffee and surprisingly fresh and good sandwiches. They have a good kitchen and staff is always helpful! Beautiful patio off main lobby with lots of plants and seating.
I’d say the only drawback is the interior of the cafe seems dated - if you’re looking for a really “hip and modern vibes” coffee shop in downtown Macon - they don’t exist … this is your best spot

Big fan of this coffee shop. It has an excellent vibe for staying awhile and relaxing, that “coffee shop” experience you want (right now, there is chill lounge / jazz instrumental music playing quietly). And the quality of food and drink is excellent.

Grab a baked good (had a slice of butterbeer cheesecake today, a fun surprise!) or slice of quiche with your coffee and unwind!

I have also brought my kids here in the past, they love the hot chocolate and sitting near the fireplace area. They made the hot chocolate cooler for the kids, too, which I really appreciated.

I have been coming to taste and see coffee shop and gallery and never knew the reason everything was so good. It turns out the pastries are made in house and don’t taste live freezer burn, the coffee is roasted in house and is never burnt and the syrups are homemade with organic cane sugar. And not to mention the customer service. I have never met employees who are so nice and actually care about everyone who comes in. This place is like a piece of heaven on earth! Try it if you haven’t yet!

Among everything they also have a delicious Coconut Mocha.

Taste and See Coffee Shop and Gallery is a hidden gem that truly lives up to its name. The space is warm, artistic, and welcoming—a perfect blend of a cozy café and an inspiring local art gallery.

Their coffee is excellent, but what really stood out to me was the watermelon smoothie—incredibly refreshing and bursting with natural flavor. It’s the perfect drink on a warm day. I also tried one of their sandwiches, and it was fresh, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients—simple but done right.

The staff is kind and attentive, and the local art throughout the space gives the whole experience a creative, soulful feel. Whether you’re looking for a chill spot to work, meet with friends, or just enjoy good food and drinks, Taste and See delivers on all fronts. Highly recommend!

Super cute coffee shop!!!

All I can say is I wish I lived closer! I never leave reviews, my wife normally does but for this place I have to! So healthy, so delicious, peaceful calm environment. They go out of their way to make sure they make the healthiest coffee — lots of locally sourced and organic ingredients. And the food, out of this world… order anything and you will be blown away. We’ve been to a LOT of coffee shops, it’s our hobby and this place out ranks them all.. if every coffee shop was like this, the world would be a better place.

The folks this morning were AMAZING! The lattes were yummy and the espresso cheesecake, that’s right cheesecake for breakfast lol, it was really good! If you’re in Macon GA stop in!

Great place! Very cool atmosphere, friendly staff, and gluten-free baked goods options. The gluten-free lemon blueberry scone was awesome.

The coffee was very tasty and smooth, the breakfast Sandwich was good, it could have had a few more pieces of bacon. The atmosphere was very relaxing with very exquisite art work.
