This is my go to for fresh, favorable caribbean food, the plate are plenty, I eat what I can and took the rest home. The coconut water was refreshing! And their mac and cheese was to die for.
The food used to good before covid. The flavor was not flavoring like jamaican food. Like every other restaurant cutting back on ingredients. Something very odd about the oxtails. Gravy was scarce. Meat dry. Sort of tough had to be careful eating the rice and cabbage because there were bone bits. Cabbage could of been more tender. Plus they've gone up on price. 30 bucks for an entrée. Other area jamaican restaurants charge 25.00 with more oxtails. Hope yall get it together.
I ordered takeout. It took a while to get the food, but that was because they were making everything fresh. It wasn't a bad wait. The restaurant looks nice inside and has lots of space.
