My wife and I are visiting from out of town to stay ay the nearby Georgia Safari Conservation for a few nights. After a typical Georgia summer day we were starving and searched for local eateries with good reviews. We popped in after finding parking with great ease, promptly seated by an awesome young lady and ordered drinks and grub shortly thereafter. The manager even checked on us and asked how everything was. The atmosphere was cozy and pub-like, nice strong drinks (the Old Fashioned was superb), and good prices. I strongly recommend 👌

I was excited about the pork schnitzel and heard the potato salad was good; so I ordered it with broccolini. Bread came, no bread plate or one offered. Schnitzel came, it wasnt. It was simply a fried piece of bad pork (not pulverized or flattened) that was gamey and tasted horrible - I got sick. The broccolini was the vegetable special and it was crispy burned. I had no silverware to finish my dinner and three dirty uncleared tables remained so. Something so promising just fell apart from the back and front of house.

Absolutely outstanding meal! We travel to the United Kingdom often and the fish and chips meet or exceed the best fish and chips we have had at the Cliffs of Dover!
Excellent wine, excellent butter lettuce salad with salmon and the bread was the topper. Don’t miss the cheesecake. Delicious. We will definitely be back again and again.

We arrived about 2:30pm so not during peak hours. We enjoyed the fish & chips and their house salad. Fish was really good. Prefer smaller cut fries. Salad was good.

We were welcomed like family. Our server gave us our drinks and time to enjoy them and relax. She gave us the specials and allowed us to chat about the menu. My husband got the pork special, I ordered the steak. The salad on my plate was fantastic. Not sure about the dressing but it left me wanting more. Steak was tender cooked perfectly. I loved the unique atmosphere and small space. The hostess checked to see how everything was. Thoughtful but not over bearing. ENJOY a meal there its lovely.

We decided to try Hart and Crown tavern today for the first time in over a year because last time we ate there my husband's chicken pot pie was made with soured roux/milk. We waited first at Betty Genes across the street and no one greeted us so we decided to give Hart and Crown another shot. We walked in the door at 11:19 and were greeted by a waiter that proceeded to inform us that they mistakenly left the door open and they didn't actually open for another 10 minutes and he escorted us out of the door. Horrible service!!! Would it have been so hard to let us sit down and look at a menu for 10 minutes? Ughhhhh.... Bad experience again and we will not be giving another try this time.
Had a nice dinner with husband. Guinness was wonderful on tap. He had fish and chips. I had Shepard's pie. We also had their sourdough bread. Everything was yummy

Just wow!! The interior of this restaurant is so cute and cozy! I was having a hard time deciding what to eat, but I am so glad I went with the fish and chips! Huge piece of flaky white fish perfectly fried! Don’t miss this place!
