We were seated in a decent amount of time. We sat waiting on a waiter/waitress for almost 20 minutes just to take our drink order. ( the restaurant was not crowded at that time). After we ordered drinks( simple order of tea and water), it was another 15 minutes just to get our drinks. We ordered an appetizer (spinach artichoke dip) and our main course at the same time. After another 25 minute wait, our main course arrived. The appetizer was brought 15 minutes after I food arrived. The waitress never came by to check on us at all. She did not even check to see if we needed anything(especially a refill of our drinks). We had to get her attention to even ask to refill the tea, she never asked if I needed more water, even though my glass was nearly empty. The food was good, but the service has much to be desired.

Watched a YouTube video of Gary the GM call law enforcement to remove a man from the *PUBLIC* sidewalk holding a sign that read “God bless our homeless vets” stating the man was “bothering guests coming in and out” which was a complete fabrication. Watch the video yourself at “Honor Your Oath” on YouTube. Apparently Gary and the Chop House Grill aren’t fans of the Constitution, vets, or the homeless. Very sad how some have forgotten about the Bill of Rights.

Love Beaches
To be honest, I have been eating here for 20 plus years now so I am clearly a fan. But straight up, lots of good food options and service is always excellent. I do not live in Madison, I have always been 90 mins to 2 and half hours away from there over the years, yet I eat there a few times a year. I have also brought other guests over the years and they enjoy being there. You will not be disappointed. Also the town is super nice to walk around in.

I went to Madison chop house craving their chicken and broccoli Alfredo, and I was very very disappointed. The meal as a whole was just a mess and way too salty. There was too much sauce spilling everywhere and not enough noodles and the chicken was a little burnt so it was kind of tough to chew. The service and people there are very nice and welcoming.

They have a bunch of daily specials which is really cool.
My wings were dry and my wife’s steak was really bland. The burger also could have used some more seasoning as well. Overall the steak and burger was cooked well, just didn’t have flavor.
The atmosphere is really cool and it does feel like you are part of the town.
Travelling from Kentucky to Florida and found this little gem. I ordered the grilled pork chops with garlic mashed potatoes and green beans. Yum Yum Yum 😋 Our waitress Emma was wonderful. As we had a puppy with us we sat outside and enjoyed chatting with local folks 😁 Great place and great experience. Thank you

We were passing through meeting with family and decided to stop in town for lunch. We met the owner in the parking lot and he was very friendly! The food is homemade and delicious! A great place to stop for some good ole country cookin’. We will definitely be back!
