What a delightful experience we had from start to finish! The room is lovely, and the seating exceptionally comfy! Our party of 4 ordered a variety of items and loved all of them. Service was beautifully coordinated and timed. We were thrilled with the bottle of wine we shared, which was one recommended for the chef’s menu.

Anyone looking for a top-tier fine dining experience outside of Atlanta should book a table at The Dining Room. The cozy interior is warm and inviting. The attentive staff was helpful and friendly. And the prix-fixe menu featured a thoughtful progression of beautifully presented and delicious dishes. Pictured are the tea-smoked duck breast with chestnuts and shiitakes and shrimp toast.The wine pairing was reasonably priced, and we wound up buying a bottle of one of the pours the next day at the nearby market. Any time we're between Madison and Athens, we'll be making another stop here.

My husband and I, Atlantans, have been to The Dining Room three times, and we already have plans to return in a month! It’s fabulous and stunning!The knowledgeable personnel are attentive. The inviting environment and the lovely, not overdone decor is gracious.And the dinner! Incredibly creative menu — and different each of the three times we visited. The wine list is creative, and the pairings are so appropriate. The short ribs appetizer and the roasted halibut entree were delicious and perfectly prepared. The duck breast was superb. And the chocolate hazelnut pastry was a wonderful conclusion.

We combined a birthday and wedding anniversary celebration at The Dining Room and enjoyed an amazing, delicious, creative, and beautifully executed meal. Each course was a surprise for the palate. The service was impeccable - Sarah and Olivia rocked!The space is beautifully appointed, the seating is very comfortable, the lighting is perfect - no detail has been overlooked. (Don't miss the ladies' or gents' room - fabulous.)From the initial reservation, where we were asked about any dietary restrictions or special requests, we were treated with professionalism and courtesy. Took our family from out of town to The Dining Room in Madison GA.AWESOME experience! Each course was perfectly executed and the flavors were mouthwatering. The wine pairings were spot on!We are foodies and we were not disappointed! The service was excellent and Olivia was fun, delightful and kind and so informative! Melanie was kind and patient with us….We have already made reservations Christmas week to take other family coming for the holidays!You can order single item ale cart if 3 or 4 course meals are too much…. or just stop at the bar for a cocktail!If we had any complaint it would be the portions were large and we were so full at the end!The restaurant is beautiful and warm and we were well taking care of. Money well spent!(Open Thur-Sat starting at 5:30pm…)

After years of having the good fortune of fine dining in some of the best restaurants in the country and occasionallyabroad, I can, for the first time, say "The Dining Room is IT!" Since I happened upon it, I have been looking for another occasion (excuse) to make the destination trip from ATL. Everything about this restaurant is special and all I can say is "go now."It was a pleasure to meet Chef Russel and the team -- they were attentive and lovely service-minded folk with a refined Southern charm. The atmosphere is stunning and.... drumroll. ... the dinner has yet to be matched. Hats off to Chef Russel and team. I will see you soon and am looking forward to it immensely.

What a treat! We’ve been hearing great things and it didn’t disappoint. Everything was delicious and met our expectations. We came out feeling full and were excited to have tried new things. The wine pairings were impressive as we had a wine connoisseur with us. Sara, Amelia, Mallory and Olivia were exceptional. The table settings, decor and atmosphere were top notch. Who would have thought a restaurant of this caliber in Madison, GA. I’m surprised, but not complaining, it wasn’t more crowded. Maybe some more social media presence is needed. I can’t wait for another special occasion to go back. p.s. we enjoyed getting gussied up.

The Dining Room Prix Fixe menu is comparable to fine dining establishments in major cities. The menu offers ample options to slightly modify the Chefs recommended courses making the meal enjoyable for all. The service by the entire team was exceptional and the ambiance was delightful...upscale but not pretentious. Glad to see Resy has been added to make a reservation, the email process was a bit challenging. The only disappointment was they failed to recognize the birthday we were there to celebrate even though we mentioned this when we made the reservation.
