The food was amazing, the atmosphere intoxicating and the Creme Brulee was to die for! Must come back!

Do not waste your time and most importantly your money!!! Pomegranate martini I couldn’t drink it was too sweet-never took it off the bill sirloin order med rare came med well-no apologies. Stop!!! Do not go when your waiter tells you the kitchen is lazy big flag. Menu online not current, crème brûlée top wasn’t served warm but custard was good.
We should have returned to hart and crown.

We couldn’t be happier that we chose to dine here. From the moment we sat down, the service was impeccable—and a huge part of that was thanks to Kacie, who was beyond fantastic. She was attentive, accommodating, and truly made our table feel like a priority the entire evening.

The food? Absolutely delicious. Every dish was spot-on, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. It’s clear the kitchen takes pride in what they do.

If you’re considering stopping by—do it. And if you’re lucky enough to have Kacie as your dining captain, you’re in for a great night. Highly, highly recommend.

Used to be a great restaurant but the “new menu” is garbage. They’ve eliminated so many of the old favorites and I hope you enjoy your $40+ steak with no sides since it’s all al la carte now. Won’t be back!

Town 220 has been a go-to for years. Tonight changed that! Three of us went, my wife ordered the Salmon entree. Our friend ordered the Strip steak and I ordered lamb chops. Neither the steak nor the chops come with anything - for about $40 bucks each, so We ordered two vegetable sides to share. The Salmon tasted like it had warm tartar sauce as the sauce. The steak and lamb chops came out - just meat on a white plate. Not even a parsley garnish. Not much of a presentation for sure. We waited on our sides and they never appeared. After some time - we decided to eat the meat before it was too cold. The waiter finally shows back up and asked if we needed anything else - we told home we never got the sides. He asked how long we had our entrees and I said “over two lamb chops ago and that our meat was getting cold. he said they would be right out and disappeared. Never asked how the food tasted or if it was prepared correctly. Our friends steak was pretty over cooked. My chops were tasty - plain, but tasty. Our sides never came and our
Server didn’t come back for over 10 minutes. When he did come back he said our sides should be out soon. We said to cancel them because we were finished with our entree. Server asked if we
Wanted to see a dessert menu and we said no. They did deduct the price of the two sides from our bill, but offered nothing else to us. When my wife told the manager what happened , he said “we took the sides you cancelled off the bill”. Hmm. Paid over $200 for two plain pieces of meet and a Salmon entree. Oh - rhe bottle of wine was good - the best part of the meal. I understand that mistakes happen, but expected a comp dessert or something other than not charging us for food that never appeared. The attitude was that we are so busy we aren’t worried about it. We will help with that issue and make them less busy because we will not be back.

A must dine when traveling to Madison! The food, ambiance, service and the cocktails were fabulous. I had an appetizer of escargot and tuna steak over creamed spinach as the entree. I highly recommend Town 220!

I went there with my spouse to celebrate our 11th anniversary. When we got there, we got an anniversary card from the staff, but when we opened the envelope, we saw that all the staff had signed the card on shift, which melted our hearts! Our waiter seemed young but was charming, attentive, kind, knowledgeable, and a chef's kiss regarding luxury and quality customer service!

Note this: I gave the food a 4/5 because the 16 oz ribeye was 85% fat.

I cannot wait to return and try every other dish again. I’m
I'm so glad we live nearby and have discovered this fantastic restaurant!

Parking: Chances are you will not find parking and must circle the cul-de-sac to find parking elsewhere. Don’t let this deter you because the food is worth it!

I had the salmon with rice and spinach. The salmon was overcooked with a slight off flavor. If I had to guess, it was Atlantic/farm raised. For the price, I was expecting a juicy wild caught Pacific salmon. I don’t recommend the salmon! Staff was excellent!!

We have come to Town 220 several times over the last 4 years and every time we have come the food was spectacular and the service was outstanding. Unfortunately, last night we had a terrible experience. I made a reservation 3 weeks ago and still had to wait a while for a table. The waitress, Brittany, was terrible. She could barely list the specials and said I think that’s correct. We proceeded to order and received our appetizers pretty quickly but my husband asked for hot sauce for his oysters and that took 10 minutes to get. She took our dinner order and after completing our appetizers and salad she asked if we were ready for our food order to be put in. We waited an extremely long time for our dinner (my husband even went outside to smoke his pipe because it was taking so long). When we finally got our dinner mine and my husband’s came out hot but my mothers was room temperature and we had to wait extra for hers for no reason. It was quite obvious our waitress was more interested in the other tables around us who were ordering drinks from the bar instead of our table. I had to ask for refills on sweet tea and Diet Coke. When we got our check I noticed a $3.00 charge and I am assuming that is for the hot sauce my husband requested which he has never had to do so prior. As were existing I said something to the two hostess about our waitress and they both blew it off with no apology. It was extremely disappointing to come to one of our very favorite restaurants and to be treated this way.
