3rd (and final) southern cooking restaurant I’ve supped with here in Madison GA.I travel all over Georgia for my job. Wow! This little lunch spot is a comfort spot for soul food, AKA southern country cooking. We tried the fried chicken, fried pork chops, pinto beans, macaroni & cheese, stewed cabbage, and Johnny cakes( fried corn bread). The ladies working there were very welcoming. Almost like eating at my granny’s home. Added plus: bathrooms were sparking clean. Pride of ownership is evident here.

I'm sitting here at the Madison Chili Cook-off listening to a reggae artist sing country and Michael Jackson. Saw the sign that said fried catfish and knew what I'd be eating. Boy, lemme tell ya. This is the best damn catfish I've ever had, and I've had it all over the country.I got four pieces, some greenbeans, and a cornbread fritter for nine bucks. Let me just say this. Damn. These folks just got themselves a lifetime customer.
