Came in for a dessert and left with a feast! Figured out I was hungrier than just dessert and asked for recommendations. Great recommendations and with a brief conversation I was sold. 10-15 minutes later what's sitting in front of me smells delicious. I opened it up to do a quick taste test there and almost sat down to eat the whole thing. Ask for the lemon/ginger liqueur, wild ride of flavors.
African Soulfood and Mama Carol provided a beautiful experience for us on Saturday. We were a large party and they accommodated us with no issue. The Sip of the Nile drink was delicious. As a first introduction to African food for me, this did not disappoint! I loved the jollof rice, maharagwe, cabbage/carrot mix and enjoyed the fufu also. I will return and spread the word to others about them!
Very nice restaurant! Was visiting from out of town for a meet & greet held at this establishment. Everyone was very pleasant and went above and beyond to cater to our group! The food was awesome & the vibe was chill! Thank you so much! I will definitely return on my next visit to the area!
