The food is good. Service is poor. No drink refill, and I had to get up and find someone to cash me out. The 3 swrvers were sitting at a table and on their phones.

10/10! Best sushi and hibachi. Great atmosphere and kid friendly.

We like going here to get the sushi deal (now 35% off menu price) on Tuesday or Saturday. They also have several hot lunch specials that are tasty as well.

An incredibly average 3-star experience. The lunch special price is honestly amazing for the amount of food you get, and the gyoza was super crispy and delicious. However, the service felt so incredibly rushed. The waitress barely gave us a minute to look at the menu and kept trying to clear our plates while we were clearly still chewing. It made the whole meal feel super stressful and uncomfortable.

Honestly go somewhere else. It isn't worth it. We came here Mother's Day evening for our anniversary. We were seated with two other families. We ordered our food and...,.first off the waiter put in our order wrong, we did not receive three of the things we ordered. One half of the table were clearly regulars, a family of 5. They asked for a specific chef. The chef comes and sees them and tells them welcome back, then proceeds to start doing excessive customizations to their orders. Which is fine, but then he shorts the other half of the table. The family of five were all given triple rice while the other half of the table were given one serving of rice even though two of us ordered double. The family of 5 were treated like kings. The rest of us, what food we did get was overcooked, under seasoned, and barely portioned, except for veggies which we got more of because the family of 5 didn't want them. However it just.....felt very unfortunate to pay so much money only to leave with barely any food and without having received all we paid for, I won't be coming back again. Customer retention is important but it's nice to extend that attitude to new customers as well.

I did call and speak to the manager to see if we were overcharged. He said no and I was going to let it go. Originally I wasn't going to write a review, but after we found the receipt and seeing we WERE charged for food we did not receive? It's just poor customer service. In this economy I can't justify coming back or trying again.

Good sushi

Had a great first time dine in, habachi experience at Atami! The entire staff was friendly and the service was amazing! Lydia gave my little ones balloons which made their night and even offered to take our family photo! Thank you all; my family and I will certainly be back!

Our waitress was Priscilla on a Tuesday night, and our hibachi chef was Cowboy. We went for a 10-year-old‘s birthday and sat at the hibachi grill. The food was great cowboy and Priscilla were wonderful and made it so special for the birthday girl singing happy birthday letting her flip the food. It was just a wonderful experience paid so much attention to her. If you have a special occasion, this is a wonderful place to go

I’m a regular customer at another atami location, and today I come to this location at Atami east Cobb when I meeting a friend. I’m really happy to say the food quality is just as good as always! Everything was fresh well prepared. And full of flavors. It’s great to see that atami keeps the same high standards across different locations. This place is definitely reliable whether you’re a regular or visiting for the first time. Will absolutely be back again
