“My wife and I stopped by the Third door on Saturday May 7th. It’s a very cool place and the band was great. The hostess told us about the nominal cover charge and that they have table service for drinks. We sat down with a couple my wife knew and waited for a server. 15 minutes in and no server in sight? My wife goes to the bar to order and was told to wait for a server. OK, 10 minutes later here she comes. Takes our simple order and again we wait, and wait. 10 minutes later we are served. I don’t understand what would take so long. Every other venue at the square is very attentive. I would have spent $75-$100 on drinks but never got the chance. I’ll go back one more time but if it’s the same experience, never again.“

“Pretty nice and laid back place, that's also 24hrs. Even though, they only have 1 pool table, it's quite spacious with plenty of seating room and standing room. Live DJ's, karaoke, bingo, cornhole, etc. Also, I was surprised they had an outdoor part as well. Definitely will come back.

Parking: If in front parking has been taken up, right next door has plenty of available parking as well, with no inconvenience whatsoever.

Wheelchair accessibility: They have the curb right in front, with plenty of ♿️ parking available“

“It is a family-owned establishment that has been in operation for years. It must have the best bar food in Cobb County. I have been going there for 20 years and I have never heard anyone complain about the food, service, or price.“

Very friendly and they come around often to check on the tables. Even the food is legit, again, better than most of the other places I've played.“

“If you're 21 or older, The Place is great for meeting your friends or you can come visit on your own to eat tasty food, drink great drinks and even have some Karaoke on Thursday nights. While The Place is a smokers' bar and not everyone's top choice, the people grow on you. It has a very neighborhood kind of feel where, should you become a regular, you'll see familiar faces..“

“First time here last Saturday night. Sat at the bar around 7pm. Bar was empty. Restaurant tables doing a steady business. Bartender was very nice. Burger was very good but bun was so soggy you had to eat it with a knife and fork. Onion rings and tots crispy and good. Fries soggy and did not eat. Would go back but definitely order the burger with "the bun on the side". Soggy bun and fries.could have been because they sat at the kitchen window too long before being served. All and all a pleasant experience and close to home for a burger and a beer.“

“This is my go-to spot in Marietta! Normally I stick with the cheeseburger (a solid classic here), but this time I wanted something on the healthier side. I spoke with the owner, Kelly, and she recommended the chicken salad — and I’m glad I listened. It was fresh, flavorful, and honestly hit the spot in a way I didn’t expect.

Kelly is great — friendly, down-to-earth, and clearly cares about making sure people enjoy their meals. That kind of personal touch is why I keep coming back.

“This place is awesome. We came with a large group the first time and were taken care of really well. The food was fresh, the pizza was delicious, and the service stood out. We’ve been back several times since.

I’ll be honest, a few people told me MM wasn’t that great, both in Alpharetta and in Rockwall, Texas. I’m really glad we gave it a shot because the pizza is unique and genuinely good. The classics like pepperoni are great, but the specialty pizzas are where it really shines. If you like mushrooms, the shiitake pizza is a must. Adding Italian sausage takes it to another level.

The entire staff is great and has their own vibe, but I want to give a special shoutout to Arturo. On our last visit, he made great recommendations and was friendly without being over the top or forced. He was just naturally good at his job. He checked on us before we needed anything and somehow showed up right when we did need something, which honestly matters a lot when a server is juggling multiple tables on a busy Friday night. When we asked about the holiday drinks, he gave us excellent cocktail suggestions. His service combined with the food easily made this a 10/10 experience.“

“This is such a fun place to go with good food, great service and a friendly atmosphere. Karaoke nights are the best. Kim makes it fun for all and does not play favorites. There is a good mix of ages and all enjoy each other. The food is a good variety and every dish I have ordered has been good. It is a Cheers of sorts with all remembering your name after you have been only a couple of times. If in the area it is a definite go to. You will not regret it.“

“Well, so I was a tad late to the Party 🎉. I drove past McCray’s Tavern in East Cobb wanting to pop by and see what’s going on… Sunday afternoon 01/11/2026 was the day. I absolutely LOVE the Layout (especially the Bar)… the Bartenders were incredible and the food (wings on the Carnivore Diet) were cooked perfectly. Good Food, Good times and Wild 🤪 Card Football 🏈 Sunday at McCray’s may be my NEW FAVORITE 🤩 PLACE!“
