Ege Sushi & Japanese Cuisine

This is an amazing hole-in-the-wall place with delicious Japanese food! Having lived in Japan for a good while, I really appreciate the authenticity of the food here. It is a simple restaurant, but the food is delicious. We ordered and shared a Japanese fried chicken appetizer, tempura, sushi and chicken katsu! The tempura was spot-on and the sushi was pretty tasty! The katsu and fried chicken was enjoyed by all!
Be prepared to wait a bit for your order, because there is typically one waitress, but it is so worth it for the delicious food!

Terrible service, there was only one waitress, it took us 2 hours to get our food and another hour to get our check.

So delicious. The quality of the sushi I had today made me realize what I have been eating at other places is just not good enough! Pretty simple, had the lunch special with a ginger dressing salad, then spicy tuna roll and tempura shrimp roll. Sprinkled on some togarashi and it was awesome. Both were fresh, really great flavor. Staff was super friendly.

This is old school sushi. The rolls are traditional the menus haven't changed in years. That's why this place is so good. It is traditional from the ground up. The good number of the clientele was Japanese. I will be coming back highlight was the spicy tuna roll and the Tuna and tamago nigiri were both excellent. My only complaint would be it took a while to get our check, but I will say they had gotten quite a bit busier than when we first got there. And honestly I'd put a star back just because the server made us laugh.

They charge freaking $1.00 just to add some eel sauce !!! The eel sauce was thin and only tasted like soy sauce
Not crazy on the flavors for the salmon skin roll.. kinda bland

Best spicy tuna roll in Atlanta. Authentic Sushi restaurant.. A hidden gem here in Marietta, we are lucky to have them.

My husband and I waited to be seated for 10 minutes while there were several seats at the bar. It was packed so the food is apparently good but the waitress did not have the courtesy to even hand us menus to look at or to seat us at the bar.

In. Was craving sushi tonight so I thought I try it out. As many suggest If you’re a fan of specialty rolls & such this will not be the place. If you want authentic sushi and good quality fish cooked by a true Japanese chef this is the place. I got sushi B with chefs choice and spicy tuna roll. Everything was fantastic and the fish tasted great. The service is alittle slower just because it’s all run by the owners but they make up for it with quality and kindness. I will definitely be back.

Authentic, delicious, they don’t overindulge in the sauces or the rice. If you want great value, great taste, and consistency. This is the place to go. I’ve been going there for 13 years and have not found any other place to compares
