A different experience this time. We had reservations at 6:00 pm for four. The restaurant was slammed. We were seated. It took almost 10 minutes to get anybody’s attention. Finally got water and drink orders. We ordered mussels and got them before we got our drinks. We ordered our mains and my husband’s came first. Chicken Marsala. He said it was delicious but it was presented as a hot mess. My friends brazino came about 5 minutes later and she love it except the spinach was extremely salty. Two of us had the cheese wheel with tomatoes and shrimp. She first served my friend and then mine. I got at a minimum of 1/4 more than he did. And she did not put enough pepper. Scale to 1-10. I say a 5 for a $41.00 meal. I have had this before and it was perfect. Not at all this evening which was extremely disappointing. Staff was limited food was sub par. Super disappointed because it has always been a pleasure to be here. Won’t go back. Too many other amazing restaurants with quality on a regular basis. Makes us sad.

We decided to try this spot based on great reviews and recommendations from friends. Coming from the North, we grew up eating fantastic Italian food and were hoping to find a go-to spot in Marietta. Unfortunately, it fell short.
We ordered the gnocchi and the penne alla vodka, but both pastas arrived completely overcooked and mushy. We barely ate our mains, and I ultimately left the penne behind. When our waiter asked what was wrong, I was honest with him; he took the dish away, but no management ever followed up.
On the positive side, the service was good, the wine prices were reasonable, and the arancini appetizer was tasty. However, the meatballs were just average and had too much breadcrumb filler. At over $150 per person, we expected much higher quality. The food was just mediocre for the price point, so our search for great local Italian continues.

A fantastic dinner experience. The back patio looks out over a park. Beyond the park are train tracks and every now and then a train goes by. Nice thing is the tracks are just far enough away that you can still have normal conversation. This was a work dinner and we sell into the rail industry, so that was cool for us. However the food experience in itself was fantastic and reasonably priced. We didn’t have reservations and were seated right away. However the hostess did make it seem like reservations are the norm here. And last two things - The cheese wheels come from Rome. Oh and also the bar stools are cool.
What an incredible find in Marietta. This place is absolute perfection.
The highlight of the evening was watching the pasta being prepared directly in a massive hollowed-out cheese wheel. It was a fantastic experience that really made the meal feel special. The flavor was rich and perfectly balanced.
Every detail is thought out, from the beautiful presentation of the cocktails to the high quality of the ingredients in the charcuterie. I cannot wait to come back.

When spending money we work hard for, it is such a relief when the experience is well worth it.
Our experience was 10/10 due to the excellent food and quality of service by Amanda. She was engaging, thoughtful, and quick for any request we had. It is rare to find a server who spends time to get to know their tables, and I think Amanda did a great job. Highly recommend her.
The food was incredible, and I mean that. We ordered the margarita pizza and penne vodka with blackened chicken. Both were cooked perfectly and presented well in a timely manner. I wish I could’ve tried everything on the menu- every plate looked appetizing. The smoked old fashioned was very good as well.
I will definitely be back, and you should bring your family here for dinner.

Today I was in Marietta on the square and happened upon this restaurant. When I walked in, right at 11a.m., the atmosphere was very nice. The hostess was kind and it seemed that everyone there welcomed me in. Bread with olive oil was brought out and I ordered the Prosciutto and Formaggio sandwich with the minestrone soup. Both the soup and the sandwich were a 10/10 and the service was great! I will definitely come back.

The atmosphere was great, the food was fantastic, but what really sealed the deal for me to come back was my server sawyer. He was so kind so efficient in a very laid-back but witty personality. Make sure you ask for him in the front when you visit this restaurant.
