Goldbergs Fine Foods - East Cobb

I like the food here, but I will not come again to this location. Came in on a non busy weekday morning and ordered two toasted buttered bagels for my kids to go. I paid and 30 minutes passes without my order- people come in after me and get their order. I inquire the status of mine and they lost it or something. Very frustrating. Especially as they were not apparently busy or short staffed.

Did a takeout order for one cold sandwich with fries and a few bagels. Took almost 30 minutes. Besides the wait, the only issue with the food was that the fries were way under cooked.

I placed an uber eats order today. September 30,th 2024 - Order # 253A8.There was a long hair inside my Guest bagel. I had to apologize to them, I called the restaurant to speak to a manager- not seeking money but for the matter to be checked out. No one picked up and their voicemail inbox was full. Sucks because the food is real good, but unacceptable to have a long hair coming out a bagel.

I just ordered a pastrami sandwich and a side of potato salad. Well, that's the last time I will ever eat at Goldberg's. Clearly, they don't care about what they serve. The meat was dry, ice cold, and there was almost no sauce. Extremely disappointing. I couldn't even eat it and had to throw it away. Then I thought, at least I have the potato salad... but it was either off or packed with some weird preservatives. I've never had worse!

The patio at this Goldbergs is the best place to eat. But the bagels to eat at any Goldbergs are the best in Atlanta and surrounding environs they have been for more than 50 years.

It’s been a while since dining here. They may have new managers as I didn’t recognize any of the employees. Counter staff was new also. My omelet was cooked properly and the service was a lot better than on previous visits. Good atmosphere and it feels cleaner. Good for them.
