OF ALL THE RESTAURANT IN MARIETTA AREA ATLANTA, THIS LITTLE RESTAURANT IS THE BEST IN THAT AREA, REAL AUTHENTIC JAMAICAN FOOD SURVED.
I stop in at least once a week gor the curry goat. It is always nice and tender, hot and fresh.

I saw the Chicken stew on Google and it looked remarkably delicious. It absolutely was, paired with brown rice. I would come back again for that but the cabbage tasted off, compared to what I've had before. I don't know how else to describe it but it tasted fishy, like it was dropped in too much fish oil.

Worst food ever. I bought jerk chicken and it tastes like it was cooked from yesterday. I can tell you guys who gave them 5 stars and great reviews don't know what Jamaican food supposed to taste like. Not because they might be Jamaican doesn't mean they can cook!!!!

My first visit to Golden Tropics was absolutely wonderful! The customer service was excellent. The staff was very friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. I am so glad I decided to try their restaurant. I had the oxtails with gravy, rice and peas and collard greens. Everything was cooked to perfection. I am so happy and pleased. I will definitely return. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience.

The food was great and the staff were nice. I bought a medium curry chicken & a bottle of water. I wasn’t feeling that they over charged me by $6. I didn’t find out until I check my bank account. My order was $18 & they charged me $24. Please get a receipt when they ask you do you need it. I have to call them first thing in the morning to get my $6 refunded. Oh I was mad mad. Idc if it was $2.

We stopped in after a game, great Oxtail, Curry Goat and Stew Chicken. Some may seek more heat in the curry and they were able to give us some Habenero to bring us across the finish line. The Jerk pork will not disappoint, tendor perfectly seasoned and made with respect. Wonderful spot.

I only tried the beef patties so far but let me just say these are the best beef patties I've ever had in my life!! I bought two and finished them both before I even left the parking lot. And Adrian the young lady who helped me has great energy and fits the environment of this restaurant. Ill review later when I actually get a full course but if you're a beef patty God like me (pause). This is the place to go!!!

I go there frequently and to be honest.....they got my vote. Thee gentlemen who cooks the food use to cook for a restaurant across the street but Cobb county shit down n destroyed the places across the street. I eat out too much which is bad but Golden Tropics taste authentic.... I've gone to a few places over the years. And I primarily like cabbage so that's what it get. However, I get oxtail or curry here n there and ......I like Golden Tropics the best. Btw. I'm super random ...wish they were open longer though but I personally feel like the restaurants that are not going for the atmosphere or the area have the better food. Mexican.... Jamaican..... Mediterranean...... No disrespect I just feel like certain restaurants that are closer to places like the stadium or just more known just don't taste authentic. The tall blk skin woman ...with 2 braids ....who likes to eat. Imma tell you how I feel lol
