My wife and I used to frequent this Chinese restaurant, stopping a while back because the quality of food and service had declined. We decided to give it a try again and were happy that we did. We had a late lunch, the food was excellent, as was the service. I had sweet and sour shrimp while my wife had a szechuan dish. Good taste at a reasonable price.

I had not visited this restaurant in a few years but stopped by tonight for dinner and was very pleasantly surprised. The service was exceptional and the food was outstanding. Everything was prepared to perfection and all ingredients seemed extremely fresh. I have definitely added Hong Kong Star to my group of favorite restaurants.

The service was excellent and respectful. I ate the shrimp, beef and shrimp trio with brown rice. The food was cooked and seasoned with a tinge of sweet and salty. I noticed several elderly customers come in that new the owner and servers which showed they have built good long term rapport with their customers. I’m a younger man and was still treated with respect and excellent service. Definitely a place I will visit again.
