Always fun to enjoy some bubble tea and pet friendly kitties.

I've always wanted to go to a cat cafe and I finally did it. This place has a limited number of people allowed inside the cat room at any given time, to make sure to not stress the cats out, which is great because it also means the people aren't outnumbering the cats and everyone can focus on their own area/cat while there potentially helping build a connection and boosting cat adoptions. One of the nice things is the food/drinks are in a different room so the cats are not all up in the drinks or causing sanitation issues. The staff are friendly and will even bring the drinks right to you inside the cat lounge so you don't have to go back and forth to grab items after you've checked in. We all got teas, and even bought cookies on our way out. They have some cute cat jewelry and cafe merchandise, which I might go back and buy some eventually. We did get there late which was unfortunate because we missed out on some of our time with the cats but that didn't stop the great time we had. I would suggest getting their early, as they even have parking in front of the building so you don't have to search or anything. A few things to keep I mind when going here : most of the time they get fully booked and their tickets are sold online, with each ticket you get one free drink, and if there is an unused ticket it counts as a donation. If you would like to adopt their is a process of submitting an adoption form that could take 2 weeks to process, but you can always visit your potential new pet during that time back at the cafe. If you're unable to adopt but love a cat, you can sponsor a cat meaning the amount of money you put towards them gets taken off the adoption price for their future adopter, helping entice people to adopt since the fee now seems lower but the cafe isn't losing anything since it was just paid for by someone else.

First thing first, they close soon in June so if you've been thinking about it, now is the time to go! There's several parking spot in front of the cafe but if all of those spots are filled then there's a paid parking space, across the street. All the parking in the back of the building belong to the salon nextdoor, so don't risk being towed by parking there. We followed the instructions: booked it online on the website, choose the time and date for the visit. You have an hour inside the cat lounge, together with other groups that booked at the same time slot with you. They will give you shoe cover when walking into the cat lounge, so wear any kind of shoe you want. The reservation goes with a selection of tea or coffee that you can bring along into the lounge. We didn't take any drinks since we don't want to bring a drink around while hanging out with the cats. The staffs are very friendly and knowledgeable. It was my first time here and it was a lovely experience! There's plenty of cats to hang out with, and there're cat toys everywhere too. My reservation is at 3pm on a Sunday. Afternoon maybe nap time so half if the cats were sleeping or resting. Most cats are very sweet and friendly. Some might be a bit more cautious. Both me and my boyfriend got scratched. He got it worse than me since the cat didn't only scratch but also bit him hard too. Maybe because he just woke up from his nap. The staffs have disinfected spray and liquid for the injury so all is good. You can donate to the adoption fee for a specific cat or donate for the cats in general. It's a kid friendly cafe. In fact, there were many kids with supervised adult in the lounge. This is also a good date idea for couples if you're into cat and animal. Or if you plan to adopt a cat, this is a good chance to interact and get to know the cats. If you're lucky, you will be the chosen one (by the cat).If the place is not too far from my house, I would like to visit the cafe more often. All in all, I highly recommend the cafe!

Java Cats Meowietta is pretty well-organized! You get a drink with your admission; I’d recommend arriving a few minutes before your hour begins to get your drink from the barista. The cats are generally sweet and friendly. The only con is that parking is pretty difficult; you have to hope that your arrival lines up with the previous hour’s patrons leaving.

Loved every minute here! I had a strawberry cream soda w strawberry boba which was pretty good. We made reservations a few days ahead since they are typically booked on weekends. The room seemed very clean & very comfortable for the cats that resided there. They also accept donations of litter, blankets, cat food, etc. We’ll absolutely be back with some goodies for the adorable fur babies!

Super cool little cat cafe!! The people working here are really nice and knowledgeable about the cats. The teas are good too. Getting out of the parking lot is a bit difficult, so be prepared for that. Everything else about this place is amazing and I’m a semi-frequent visitor!

had a wonderful experience here with the cats. i would love to adopt but as a college student it’s sadly not allowed. this is a great option for people who can’t adopt to interact with cats and help socialize them. the space was a bit hectic the day we went in due to some new kitties being introduced to the space, but it was still a ton of fun. the coffee isn’t what we went for, but it was actually amazing! as someone who has volunteered in many cat shelters, a cat cafe is a much better experience for the cats to become sociable and have better chances of finding a home.

Really fun date activity, the black cats are the most fun and they're really athletic so playing with them is a lot of fun! The coffee and treats are really good too, and this location is a lot quieter than the one in Atlanta.

Everything was great! The cats were great and the coffee was amazing. I'm not gonna lie, cats are cats— treat them with kindness and delicacy and they'll be okay with you. Don't bother them too much if they're sleeping or resting as they want their own space, too. Also, don't flash lighting cameras as they're delicate in their eyes. Just saying as a cat expert ?
