I've always wanted to go to a cat cafe and I finally did it. This place has a limited number of people allowed inside the cat room at any given time, to make sure to not stress the cats out, which is great because it also means the people aren't outnumbering the cats and everyone can focus on their own area/cat while there potentially helping build a connection and boosting cat adoptions. First thing first, they close soon in June so if you've been thinking about it, now is the time to go! There's several parking spot in front of the cafe but if all of those spots are filled then there's a paid parking space, across the street. Java Cats Meowietta is pretty well-organized! You get a drink with your admission; I’d recommend arriving a few minutes before your hour begins to get your drink from the barista. The cats are generally sweet and friendly. The only con is that parking is pretty difficult; you have to hope that your arrival lines up with the previous hour’s patrons leaving.
