I was on TikTok and saw a video of a guy eating ‘authentic Indian food’ here🙄. As a former NY Native(all my life) who constantly traveled to little Guyana and ate at a different restaurant at least 2x a week — I had to try this! I sent the TikTok to my Husband who felt the same as me😂. We rounded up the kids that same evening and did the drive to this gem hidden in plain sight. The dining room was clean as a whistle. My first time trying this establishment, and I will say the food was really good. The service was exceptional the gentleman behind the counter was patient and very helpful. Thank you! The place was clean and friendly. I will be back to try some of the other dishes!
I recently dined at Masala Cottage and had an absolutely wonderful experience. I tried the kulcha, daal makhni, malai kofta, jeera rice, and mango lassi—each dish was packed with authentic flavors and beautifully prepared. The kulcha was soft and fresh, perfect with the creamy daal makhni. The malai kofta was rich, flavorful, and melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Paired with the aromatic jeera rice, it was a match made in heaven. And the mango lassi was the perfect refreshing finish...
