Everything is so expensive, that restaurant doesn't really taste good ?

The menu online reflected mexican food was served as well as Mexican seafood. We decided we would try the seafood.
I ordered red snapper (filet) and was shocked at the bones in the fish. Typically filet means the b ones have been removed. No one mentioned the market price of the dish but I certainly didn't expect it to be that expensive. To add to the bones in the fish, the sauce was so spicy (not mentioned in the menu) that it was not good. I tried another piece with a little red sauce and it still was not edible. I had indigestion all night.
My friend ordered the coconut shrimp. The batter was thick and spicy (again, not mentioned in the menu). The ratio of batter to shrimp was nowhere close. She peeled the batter off and was able to eat some of it.
They need to update the website with correct menu. Another table seated near us were also expecting mexican food, not only seafood. They need to train their staff to provide market price when an item is ordered. The menu should also reflect heat levels for customers with sensitive stomachs. They should also give customers a heads up that you are charged for water. Again, not mentioned in the menu nor the the wait staff.

The best place to eat seafood in southern Georgia, the food is very delicious, the king tray, my favorite, has everything, it is worth it, excellent drinks from the bar and very good service

Very first authentic Mexican Seafood restaurant I have been to in the states. The food is amazing. Be warned one snapper plate will feed two grown men that eats a lot at one sitting. Literally. It comes out on a huge platter and the service is amazing. Restaurant is nice, clean and in great shape.

It took me back to trips outside of the states.

Everything is way overpriced, all the food portions are very huge I tried looking for something on the menu with a small portion but nothing, the server also had the audacity to charge me gratuity and their menu states gratuity is included on parties of 4+. Not only that I had a few of their drinks and honestly is disappointing the bartender needs to go to bartending school because he obviously doesn’t know how to make a proper drink.

I’m doing this review a month after I went which was on July 3rd for my moms bIrthday and we all loved it the food was great the prices were like any other marisqueria i’m just glad we finally have a real Marisqueria on the southside. And this is a Mexican restaurant if you want sweet tea go to Mrs.Winners! ?

The truth is, the food is good, but I would like the owner to be more careful with the waitresses, because it is not fair that they add the tip. I was eating with my wife and the waitress tipped me $40 dollars just for two people, please. I hope the owner takes the time to solve this, it seems like a scam to me,,,, or a theft
