The best fried okra and fresh cut fries...great service and the portions they give you is very generous...oh and the chicken is to die for..
I really want to like this place. The food is good. The problem is they are never open. They're open normally from Tuesday to Friday, but will close if the wind changes direction. I bet I've driven 10 miles to this place half a dozen times only to find out they had closed for one random reason or another. They were open on Saturdays a couple times, but then stopped doing that. I can't take the erratic hours and now just go to places I can trust to be open.
We got 50 bbq wings and 50 mild wings..The wings are big and taste great love them…They are not dry like other places..We ordered today and it took about 30 mins for our food but they were supper busy also…:) We will definitely be back these were the Best wings I’ve tasted ..
Not exactly a feast for $20. The brisket was mostly fat, the bbq spices sauce had barely any taste. Pork had no spices on it. Wont be back
Maybe it was an off night. I hope so because we like supporting local businesses. Dining room was cold. Collards we’re good. Wings not so much.
Awesome pulled pork and fries.Great location in lovely Milner by the train tracks.
Picked up lunch for our group today. Very good. Polite service. Also, kid approved- big time!! Did I mention they do home cut fries too!!! If you like sweet tea and most of us in the south do, you will not be disappointed.Quaint clean restaurant, indoor dining and the sweetest little screened porch with a fireplace for dining as well.
Very good wings, just needed little more sauce ?
Great takeout Family dinner. The pork is cooked so right.
The barbecue port was great and they make fresh french fries for each order

Pulled pork plate was awesome….stew was just right
Came here to eat with my family, was ignored.. not even a glance. Waiting for them to acknowledge me another couple walked in and they serviced them right away. I was offended as I’m a local and used to eat here a lot when it was Mel’s. Not sure if different owners or not but I will not be returning. So sad that Tim’s is the only restaurant now with good service in Milner.
This was such an enjoyable dining experience! Food was so good and service was phenomenal!! Gotta try the banana pudding but you have to get there early before they run out!!
Brisket is awesome! Everyone loved the food at lunch! Great job!!! Can’t wait to try the other food items.
EXCELLENT barbecue and more than ample portions for a fair price. Overall, a great value. Down home, small town atmosphere. One of the last of a dying breed... the excellent 'mom & pop' restaurant. Some of the best cole slaw ever!!!
