“Service was very slow on a take out order which was frustrating and somewhat defeated the point of ordering take out to be ready at a certain time. However, the salmon piccata was well worth it! The flavor was amazing and as always I love the Brussel sprouts that came with it. I also tried a cup of gnocchi soup and it was great as well. The atmosphere for eating in is just as nice as the food. I love that we have such great food available in Barnesville and hope it stays around for years to come.”

“I had a hankering for ice cream after dinner and so we drove to Griffin to visit this ice cream parlor based on the yelp reviews. They weren't wrong. This is some of the richest ice cream I've ever had. In addition, the owner makes her own ice cream by hand. Not every flavor is available every week, ensuring that each scoop is fresh and not freezer flavored. She gives you a taste if you ask. I knew it would be good, so I didn't even ask. Definitely worth the 20 minute drive for us.”

“I love this place! Whenever I'm in town, I always make a point to stop in. The manager came to my table, and I said, 'Wow, you keep your place so clean, and the food is so good!' “Saturdays are my coffee days and the Starbucks I frequent was closed. Boy am I glad it was! Although this coffee shop is further out, it was definitely worth the drive! The young lady at the register was so kind. I told her it was my first time visiting and she gave recommendations. “Came here on 3/13/2024. I had never been here before coming to work down here. I went for lunch on my hr lunch break and I ordered the 15 piece combo; garlic Parmesan and the hot lemon pepper sprinkle wings. When I tell you the cook Mimi did a freaking AWESOME job on my wings. They were cooked crispy, and with enough sauce on them. I didn’t even have to tell her to do that. These wings were so damn good that I went back after work and picked up a 50 piece for my family. Unfortunately Mimi wasn’t back there coming anymore, she was taking orders. They were OK, but not like when Mimi had cooked them. I will be back?! Hell yes!!!!!”

“The environment of this establishment is very welcoming! The employees are very nice and have a great customer service ethic. The food is also amazing and absolutely delicious! If I had one thing to recommend (which is pretty hard since they have many wonderful and tasteful items on their menu) it would be the cheesy bread sticks. Very delicious and tasty, all the way from the soft fluffy dough to the stretchiest best quality mozzarella cheese!”

“You need to stop here when in Barnesville if you want a superior BBQ experience. With a variety of proteins including beef, pork, chicken, and fish, you won't leave hungry. Sides include deep fried okra, baked beans, potato salad and more. All the proteins are carefully grilled and smoked on premise with the smoke from the grill magnetically drawing you in. I recently had pork chops that defied my historical view of a pork. Mama's Kitchen pork chops are called Neanderthal and they are just that. Big. Juicy. Tender to gently cut with a fork. Grilled and smoked to perfection. Like all the food here, these pork chops are the food equivalent of crack. Stop in and eat hearty!”

“There’s such a large a variety of options! I love that the food is always hot,fresh, and flavorful. The customer service is amazing, you really get that southern comfort feeling. Not to mention the prices are super affordable, and you don’t have to wait an hour for your food like most places. “It’s not fancy but the food is amazing. Our new favorite place to eat in Griffin. We especially love the hummus, fresh bread, chicken Parmesan and eggplant Parmesan (I highly recommend trying it with the pink sauce!). Servers are friendly and helpful. Worth our drive!”

I come originally from California where there is many quality, Mexican restaurants. this is the first place I found that comes close to California, Mexican restaurants.
