I routinely get the mac n cheeses and coleslaw to go for family outings and get togethers. Today I had ribs, tender and delicious, man n cheese (always killer!) and brisket chili which was really tasty! I like that they don’t try and re-invent anything, they just produce excellent tasting food. “Food truck; they were about to close, but went ahead and let me place my order. I had some kind of Shrimp w/ sauce, some type of rice recipe and steamed cabbage (love cabbage). I am not familiar with Jamaican food, but it seemed pretty genuine. The Shrimp was the best I have had anywhere (better than a fancy restaurant, seriously). They were cooked perfectly, and were very large and still tasted great (very impressed with the size, how they were cooked and the quantity of food). “We were passing through Roswell on 3/28/25 and found this place about 30 minutes before they closed. They gladly fed us and everything was fantastic. The brisket was amazing (try all their sauces) and the sweet tea was not too sweet. The people were awesome as well! Next time we’re in the area, we will definitely be back!“

Some of the little things about the experience make it even better too, like the handwashing station as you come in and leave and the little garbage can on the table to dispose of bones and napkins. “One of my go-tos for great old school BBQ. Ribs are giant and very flavorful. Half chicken is super tender and juicy, and probably my favorite meat on the menu. Sandwiches are really big and at a great price. All the sides are pretty standard but my favorites are the cole slaw with mayo dressing and green beans. They're definitely above average and are a nice light accompaniment to the meats, which to me are the real star of the show. Also, their banana pudding is one of the best. Good service and a classic vibe round out the whole experience really well. Can't really go wrong here!“

A big table celebrating a birthday was obnoxiously loud and a baby behind us kept slamming dishes on the table so a bit annoying. Not really the restaurant's fault.“
